Just like practically all independent developers of "wrong" devices from the point of view of official science, there is very little reliably verified information about the works of Royal Raymond Rife. Let's try to consider - who is Rife and what he invented.
It is known that in 1920, Royal Rife began his experiments using electronic frequencies on viruses and bacteria. Before that, microbes were invisible, but using his own powerful microscopes, he could see them.
By 1933, he had built a so-called universal microscope. This microscope was surprisingly powerful and complex, with 6,000 parts. Dr. Rife claimed that his microscope could magnify an object up to 60,000 times its size.

But Rife’s theory that cancer is caused by a virus or microorganism, which he named "BH", caused a particular Dislike of the US Medical Association. Using direct observation with his microscope, he repeatedly isolated this virus from cancer samples.
In the 1930s, Raymond Rife develops a machine called the Rife Frequency Generator. Rife's car is built on the principles of Albert Abrams. Abrams believed that every disease has its own electromagnetic frequency. He suggested that doctors could kill diseased or cancerous cells by sending an electrical pulse identical to the cell's unique electromagnetic frequency. This theory is sometimes called radionics.

In 1934, an experiment was carried out that showed ("sort of like" - all the information is reports in the newspapers, but can they be believed?) That Rife's machine cured cancer. A Special Committee for Medical Research has been established at the University of Southern California. The committee consisted of physicians and pathologists. They reportedly transported sixteen terminal cancer patients who were on the verge of death from Pasadena County Hospital to Dr. Rife's lab for treatment with the Rife frequency generator. The patients were reportedly examined after 90 days, and fourteen of them were declared cured. The other two remained in the laboratory. Their treatment was intensified. Four weeks later, these two were also declared cured.

Nearly all of the data on cancer treatment with Royfe's machine was discredited by independent researchers during the 1950s. But at the same time, in 1953, a special investigation by the US Senate concluded that Fishbein and the AMA colluded with the Food and Drug Administration to cover up alternative cancer treatments that contradict the AMA's view: radium therapy, x-ray therapy and surgery are the only recognized treatments for cancer."
An obituary in The Daily Californian reported the inventor's death at the age of 83. It stated that he died poor and embittered, due to the inability of his devices to obtain scientific recognition.
