The types in power have always wanted to control information. At different times, this was done in different ways. Previously, objectionable chronicles, books, maps, pictures were simply destroyed, rewritten, and architectural monuments were liquidated. In our time, it becomes even easier to destroy information, because it exists as not a physical, but as an electronic object, that is, something abstract. And it can be destroyed from a distance simply by pressing the “Delete” button.
If society is not reminded of some even very important event, for example, a catastrophe on a city or regional scale, then in 10, 30, 50 years, with the arrival of new generations, information about it will be almost completely erased from the people's memory, with the exception of rare mentions that can be attributed to fantasy.

All this is a planned hidden advertising of products in human flesh,more precisely, the food additive HEK293, which is included in Nescafe instant coffee, Nesquick cocoa, Maggie seasoning, baby food and other brand products owned by Nestle, Pepsi Company and many others. HEK stands for Human Embryonic Kidney, that is, the kidney of an aborted human embryo. Therefore, the cannibals from dystopias are not much different from modern real inhabitants.
Destruction of education
The systematic destruction of an adequate education system is a classic of the genre in dystopian plots. In some cases, schools and universities turn into zombariums for the education of biorobots, in other cases, the training system is practically absent. People are taught to the conditions of tough competition, they are trained to a narrow type of activity and the same narrow thinking. Most often the discipline is tough, in which thinking and reasoning is tantamount to suicide. No attention is paid to self-development, the ability to think critically and sympathize with others. This happens in the novels "Brave New World", "1984", "We" by Evgeny Zamyatin, in the same "Cloud Atlas". In our real life, the educational system is increasingly similar to the situation in these stories. In the USA, Russia, Europe, not to mention poor countries, the level of education is falling. In America and Russia, many people do not know geography, do not read books, write with mistakes. Graduates of modern schools and universities thump, smoke, degrade, this is the same biomass that is not able to analyze and take fate into their own hands.
Destruction of the social sphere
In dystopias, as in modern, "advanced" civilization, the support of the population is reduced to naught, especially in medicine. One might argue: what about Israel? Germany? The fact of the matter is that modern medicine in most countries of the world is a privilege for the rich, while the poor get sick and die from the lack or high cost of medicines and medical services. For example, in order to call an ambulance in America, you need to pay a large sum, and in Russia, treatment in a budget clinic comes down to prescribing stupid and, most often, harmful drugs without a serious study of the diagnosis. The principle of poor, barely living medicine is described in the film “The Terminator” and “The Matrix”, in the novel “1984”, where people are sick and ugly through and through, with rotten teeth, aging early and dying early. In Brave New World, the system sees no reason to save the sick. What for? They are no longer of any use. New ones will be born - healthy, liquid ones.
Concentration of power and resources in one hand
In dystopias there is a prerequisite: all power and money are in the same hands. We are told: the society of the future will be built in the strictest hierarchical pyramid, where the best goes to the top, and the worst goes to the bottom. And most importantly, in most dystopias, any possibility of changing the existing world order is denied, so that the very idea of being able to resist the system completely disappears from a person. Most dystopias emphasize the impossibility of moving from one caste to another, we are told that in the future people will come to terms with their situation.
Not always obvious, but the most important detail of dystopias is that they almost all come from the same source. This genre has become a tool for brainwashing, preparing society for global changes. It is these emotions that allow one to feel someone else's pain and regard it as a system error. Such a person who has lost his human appearance is easy to control. Tell him constantly: “you live once, and you need to try everything,” say: “these are their problems, it doesn’t concern me”, say: “we are not like that - life is like that”, justify any cruelty, violence, immoral actions. As they say, nothing personal, just business. The average person in the real world lives only for himself, spends time on degrading pleasures, dreams of becoming rich and famous, such asmost Americans are in Fahrenheit 451. In this book, as in Brave New World, the main purpose of life is reduced to endless enjoyment. In our world, the goal of life is in the uncontrolled consumption of resources, in pleasures, in creating your own little world, outside of which anything can happen. In the wildest plot of the novel "We" by Yevgeny Zamyatin, people are deprived of their names and surnames. It is no coincidence that in the film adaptation of the novel “1984”, filmed in the middle of the last century, the main character calls his abbreviated name mixed with an identification number.
People in dystopias are numbered as goods with the help of articles, so it is more convenient, this is "for the good of humanity." It is naive to think that all this is just a sick fantasy of the authors. Long before the invention and introduction of biometrics, electronic fingerprint reading technology, all these innovations for the control of human beings were described in many novels.
