But the "War of the Gods" was started not by the disgruntled, but relatively prudent Enki, but by his ambitious and uncontrollable son Marduk. He came into conflict with Thoth and forcibly interrupted his dynasty, fell out with his brother Nergal, leading him to the clan of opponents, to the side of Enlil, whose right hand was the son of Ninurta, began to seize the lands, which, in his opinion, “he should have owned according to the plan ".

Since the Enki-Marduk clan had better technologies, science, genetic engineering, they spawned hybrids and at first seized the strategic initiative, but Enlil-Ninurta had much better, destructive weapons in stock.
