In Europe, there are many objects created thousands of years ago. Particular attention is paid to megalithic structures. They are created using large boulders. Stonehenge is the best example of such a monument from the distant past. But megaliths are not limited to Britain. They are also found in the north of France. Namely, near the city of Karnak.

Large boulders have been known to the locals since ancient times. But few people paid attention to them. Even if questions were asked, the answers differed in the same type. Like, the pagans had their own strange religious cult. It was only in the 19th century that much more attention was paid to them. Researchers appeared who wanted to understand the reasons for the construction of such buildings in different parts of Europe.

Directly in the region of Karnak, "construction" began in the middle of the 5th millennium BC. At that time, there were no pyramids in Ancient Egypt. Even such a state itself did not exist. But in France, several thousand (!!!) stones were laid out in rows. It took a huge number of people to do this. Do not forget that in the then Europe the population was very small. Why were such efforts made?

Of course, everything can be explained by a religious cult incomprehensible today. But what was he connected with? Why were huge stones dragged around the world? People who lived, for example, in Europe and America and had never seen each other, had a similar worldview. So it turns out? Or are there other reasons?

Proponents of paleocontact like to talk about the role of aliens in creating such structures. There are theories that whole "alleys" of stones were built in their honor near Karnak. Or the ancient people tried to build something like an airfield to attract the attention of aliens. However, no evidence is provided. Therefore, such statements are nothing more than mere reflections.

It is a pity that there are no written sources of those years left. They would answer a number of questions. However, in Europe then there was no written language. It remains to continue the study of the peoples involved in the construction near Karnak. Perhaps, over time, scientists will have more information at their disposal, which they will share with the public.
