In open sources about the islands it is written: Islands of the Maltese archipelago of mainland origin, these are low limestone plateaus. The relief of the islands is mainly elevated, rocks of limestone in the form of rocks protrude to the surface everywhere and form the local landscape. The coastline of the islands is highly indented with numerous coves, bays and rocks.
