An American company is freezing the brains of customers to integrate them into a bionic body in 30 years.

An American entrepreneur proposed developing a technology for removing the brain from the human body and integrating it into a bionic body.

The possibility of eternal life, or at least its significant extension, has always worried humanity. Today the richest people in the world are investing huge amounts of money in these programs. Suffice it to say that such a monster as the Google corporation intends to spend half a billion dollars for these purposes in the near future. And the president of Google venture projects, Bill Maris, said that the project's task - to increase the average life expectancy to 500 years - seemed to him quite real.

However, American entrepreneur Josh Bocanegra has outlined a more ambitious goal. He intends to raise people from the dead and promises us immortality in the future. While most anti-aging fighters plan to hack the human genetic code and find a way to block the mechanism of aging of cells in the body, Bocanegra decided to go the other way. He reasoned as follows: if nature is programmed that the human body is mortal, there is no need to try to deceive the Creator. Why fight for the whole organism, when our consciousness and our individual "I" are contained in the brain? The brain lives longer and aging changes are easier to heal there. So isn't it easier to develop a technology for removing the brain from the mortal body and integrating it into the bionic body? That is, in fact, we are talking about creating avatars, as in the famous Hollywood film of the same name.

Josh expects his idea of raising the dead to be a resounding commercial success in the market. He founded the Los Angeles-based company Humai to research medical robotics. Here is how the mission of the project is described on the company's website: “We will collect data on the manner of communication, speech characteristics, sense of humor, facial expressions, behavioral reactions of a person. These data will be taken into account by a computer program and integrated into the bionic body, which will be controlled by the brain of a particular person through a special interface. Sensory technology will allow you to master all the senses and fully experience every cell of your new body. As your brain lives, genetic engineering methods will improve and this will allow using nanotechnology to repair every cell and every molecule of your brain. In fact, you will become immortal!"

Bocanegra's ideas are theoretically quite feasible. Already there are prostheses with which people with disabilities are able to control the power of thought. Interfaces have also been developed that make it possible to directly transfer thoughts from one brain to another. However, it will take decades to create a prototype "avatar". Josh assures that his company will create an analogue of the avatar organism by 2045.

The bionic body has not yet been created, but Humai offers its customers to take care of their immortality right now. You can make an agreement so that immediately after death, a medical team will freeze your brain until "better times" using existing cryogenic technologies. It will be stored in a special container at very low temperatures, and when the company puts the production of body-autos on stream, the brain will be thawed and implanted into an artificial organism. As for the parameters that will later help to recreate a person's personality, they can be collected now using computer applications.

Bocanegra's project gained worldwide fame, and along with it, the ideologue of immortality was covered by a wave of criticism. So neuroscientists said that despite all the achievements of geneticists and nanotechnology, human life is still finite and most certainly cannot last forever. And upon a detailed study of Humai, it turned out that it has only 5 employees and does not have an impressive start-up capital. Therefore, the question arises: how will lone heroes compete with such scientific monsters as universities or with Google?

Josh Bocanegra reasonably remarked to this that Bill Gates started his computer business in a garage and against his background Humai possesses colossal resources. Who is right: a preacher of eternal youth or grumpy pessimists? We will find out about this very soon - after some 30 years.
