According to the Iranian press, during the construction of a pit under the foundation of a house in Iranian Kurdistan, the ruins of an ancient city were accidentally discovered. In the course of further excavations, archaeologists have found the remains of an unknown civilization and a mausoleum in which, presumably, the ruler of the ancient people himself was buried. Researchers have established the age of the unique finds - 12,000 years.
Soon after the information about the ancient burial appeared in the media, scientists reported that only a few artifacts are ancient. The body of the king of the ancient city was given only 850 years, but its preservation cannot fail to impress. Skin and hair are perfectly preserved, soft tissues are indistinguishable from living ones. The royal sarcophagus itself is completely lined with gold, and on the head of the ruler is wearing a crown with inlaid precious stones.
It is noteworthy that cuneiform writing is visible on jewelry and other artifacts, which has not been seen anywhere before. Currently, scientists are trying to decipher the ancient writings, but so far to no avail.
