"Shuttle" Toprakkala is one of the most famous artifacts that supposedly prove the fact of the ancient arrival of aliens on Earth.
For the first time, the famous ufologist Zachariya Sitchin drew attention to it, having discovered it in a museum in Istanbul (Turkey).
At the same time, this artifact was not exhibited in the halls, but was kept in storerooms, because the museum workers doubted its authenticity, it was too unusual for it. In addition, for some reason they were unable to date this item.
This stone carved figurine is incredibly reminiscent of a rocket with modern engines, in which a man in a spacesuit sits. Therefore, she received the name "shuttle".
Sitchin managed to find out that the artifact was found in a place called Toprakkala, not far from Lake Van. And this place is unusual in itself. In the 9th century BC, the city of Tushpa, the capital of the state of Urartu, was located here. From this city to us, only the remains of the old fortress on the Van rock have survived.
The lower walls at the foot of this cliff are made using the so-called Cyclopean masonry, that is, using huge hewn stone blocks and without mortar. The stones were just very carefully fitted to each other.
This construction method was considered legendary back in the days of Ancient Greece and was attributed to huge Cyclops. Cyclopean masonry can be seen in Machu Picchu, Peru and other pre-Columbian civilizations.

The Tushpa stones were of limestone and reached 0.75 meters in height and 6 meters in length, and weighed 30-40 tons. It was on one such huge block that the inscription of the Urartian king Sarduri I (reigned 844-828 BC) was found. The inscription lists the titles of Sarduri and ends with the phrase "I am Sarduri, son of Lutipri: I brought these stones from the city to Alniune and erected this wall."
It is curious that such inscriptions usually tell about conquests and victories, it would seem why leave them when building an ordinary fortress wall? It is possible that it was a truly unusual and very important structure.
Is it a coincidence that a strange spaceship-shaped artifact was found in such an extraordinary place? According to Zechariah Sitchin, the figure is a copy or model of what is very similar to the space shuttle with both nose and back, and the clothes of its passenger are not at all like the outfits of the ancient inhabitants of Urartu.
Two cone-shaped engines are visible behind her, and the figure has carefully drawn lines, including the folds in the man's suit. The unknown master tried very hard to convey the similarity.
