There are many places on our planet that people consider damned. Nobody knows what happens in such places and what is the cause of the anomalies. But it is possible that these are just rumors.
One of such places is highway number 666. This road was built in the twenties of the last century, as the sixth branch from federal highway number 66. And immediately this route began to be associated with dark forces, demons and demons among local residents and drivers.
The Devil's Route is characterized by high mortality and a large number of accidents. Experienced drivers say it's better to take a different road. In the early years, scary stories about evil spirits seemed like just ordinary horror stories and legends, but accidents continued to happen. The police constantly received reports of bright glowing balls, strange companions and possessed dogs. There was even a legend about a crazy driver who rammed other cars on an old truck. Many stories were backed up by the testimony of terrified eyewitnesses who miraculously survived.
In 2003, it was decided to give the track an arc number, now it is track 491. After that, the "Devil's track" was gradually forgotten. But even now, ten years later, old signs with three sixes still hang on some sections of the track.
There is a belief that evil still dwells on this road, since it crosses two mountains that are considered sacred by the Indians: Utah and the extinct volcano Shiprok.

It was November 1999. The weather was cloudy and it was raining. On that day, I was just driving along highway 666, when I suddenly saw a girl standing on the side of the road. Of course, I stopped the car to give her a lift, not to leave her in such weather in a deserted place. I stopped the car, opened the window and told the girl to get into the salon, to which she replied: "in ten minutes you will die!" I immediately gasped and drove off, deciding that the girl did not have all the houses. But a few minutes later, a truck drove into the oncoming lane at high speed. I managed to give to the right and pulled over to the side of the road. One second, and from me and from my car, nothing would be left.
Nobody can explain what is happening on this route. But one simple explanation can still be. Because of the name and eerie legends, drivers get nervous on this road, which leads to accidents.
