It is hardly necessary to introduce People's Artist of the USSR Nikolai Konstantinovich Cherkasov to the older generation.

My acquaintance with him happened in his personal garage on the Petrograd side. Even by today's standards, the garage was impressive: it was located on the first floor of a residential building, had windows and steam heating, and the owner's black Volga was modestly housed in its far corner. There I heard this very curious story.

One night Cherkasov dreamed of his old friend, who had died during the war. He persistently urged the owner of the "Volga" not to ride it to the theater the next day.

(I wonder where the man who died in the war got the information about this car?)

A day later, a friend asked him to help lift something bulky that could only fit in the trunk. The Volga was standing in the garage, almost burying its rear bumper against the wall, the owner decided to take it out into the street, and when it rolled out of the garage door with a quiet snort, a friend said that something was jingling in his front wheel. Cherkasov took off the cap, and the wheel disc fastening nuts fell on the asphalt.

And it turned out that, returning from the dacha for the last time, he pierced the tire on the front wheel with some piece of iron, and had to change it himself, without helpers. As he unscrewed the disc retaining nuts, he found that they were tight. And I decided, when I put the spare tire, to lubricate the nuts and studs with engine oil! (Well, what can you take from the humanities!) Yes, and the strength to properly tighten them, in the seventh ten was not the same.

As a result, when he got to the garage, the front wheel was held only by the last stud. And the subsequent accident with serious consequences would be inevitable.

STORY TWO

One morning in 1979, Philadelphia resident Helen Tillotson woke up early in the morning from a knock on her door. This was her mother, who lived in the house opposite. Alarmed, Helen began to find out what had happened.

- Tell me what happened to you - a few minutes ago you woke me up: knocked on my door and demanded that I immediately go to you! I barely had time to get dressed.

While the women were sorting out the relationship, a powerful explosion was heard outside the window. It turned out that gas exploded in Helen's mother's apartment, and the floors and walls collapsed.

The fire chief just shook his head in amazement when he heard this story: "If Mrs. Tillotson had not had time to leave the apartment, she would hardly have survived."

STORY THREE

Many people still remember the tragedy in Aberfan (Wales) on October 21, 1966, when a collapsed coal waste heap filled up a school and part of a mining village. 139 people died, mostly children.

A few days before this event, 9-year-old girl Eryl May Jones had a strange dream. In it, she saw her recently deceased friend, who happily (!) Told her that they would soon meet. The dream was so vivid that Eryl told her mother that she now believed in the existence of the afterlife.

A few days later, she had an even stranger dream: she was going to school, but there was no school - she was covered with something black.

“Maybe I shouldn't go to school? she asked her mother. But the mother, who did not attach any importance to her previous dream, in which Eryl's deceased friend promised her daughter a quick meeting, only scolded her and sent her to school. The girl never came back.

TO THE QUESTION ABOUT THE GUARDIAN ANGELS

Christianity and some other religions convince their supporters that the Higher Powers have assigned to each person a disembodied invisible rational being, designed, firstly, to protect him from various misfortunes, and secondly, to keep a strict record of all his bad and good deeds in order to present then these multi-ton "cases" at the Last Judgment.

Personally, I have long ago put an end to these kind higher forces, having seen only footage of the military chronicle: the Germans bombed a steamer on which children from Leningrad were evacuated through Ladoga, and in the footage for several long seconds it was shown how hundreds of children's panama hats swing on the water. But these higher forces had to force the German pilot to press the bomb release lever only a second later! And what was the fault of the kids from the school in Aberfan?

But if you don't want to think about it, let me remind you of another irrefutable fact: every year millions of people die during natural and man-made disasters, in auto, air, railway and sea accidents, under bricks and icicles falling from roofs, from bullets by terrorists and maniacs. And where is the highest justice in this? And only an insignificant part of people, less than a thousandth of a percent, sees a “prophetic dream” or receives a premonition that allows them to avoid premature death.

So let's leave the religious tales to the believers and try to find other, more specific, our keepers, alas, who work with the same low efficiency.

When I tackled this problem, I analyzed several hundred cases received or heard from eyewitnesses, and published in numerous media outlets. And he discovered that the keepers were not at all angelic. Their list is small: they are relatives and friends, friends, acquaintances (very rarely unfamiliar personalities, but without wings). And, let us pay special attention to this - both the living and the dead. And there are more of the latter.

But the official science is not convinced by these hundreds of cases, and hundreds of thousands will not be convinced either - it will still consider them a mere coincidence. After all, it is impossible to foresee future events - and that's the whole story.

Therefore, I will try to give these and other similar stories a purely unscientific explanation. Let this be a hypothesis, but there is simply no other explanation.

Back at the end of the last century, French researchers showed that Homo sapiens consists of a physical body and some subtle (now we say, field) intelligent substance, capable in some cases of semi-autonomous existence and becoming completely autonomous after the death of the physical body. Call it what you want, that's not the point.

The main problem is that this field that forms this structure is unknown to modern science - this is the task of the science of the Future. I just want to remind you that the field or energy structure exists outside of our usual time. Here everything is in physics - time, for example, for a quantum of an electromagnetic field is equal to zero. Therefore, such a structure is equally accessible to both the Past and the Future of our three-dimensional world. And at the same time it exists in its own virtual or, if you like, astral world.

It is this “astral” half of ours, for example, during sleep, that can look into the Future and become a witness to future events.

And then an unexpected problem arises: how to warn your physical soul mate, or another person, about the impending danger? Paradoxically, this duality of ours does not allow us to do this. For the time being, let us assume, for simplicity, that the physical body is responsible for consciousness, and the astral body is responsible for the subconscious (the term is inaccurate, but understandable and familiar). So we are arranged that information from consciousness passes into the subconscious according to the principle of a semiconductor - there is no reverse course. Otherwise, we would all become patients in an insane asylum.

An ordinary, normal, mentally healthy person in the vast majority of cases is deaf to the warning of an impending danger even from his own subconscious. And only in people with weak extrasensory abilities, sick, traumatized (especially in the head), and due to some other reasons, there is a channel of reverse infiltration of information from the subconscious into consciousness. The second channel, available to a wider circle, is receiving information about future events in a dream.

There is one more, purely philosophical problem in this hypothesis: what future do we see in the virtual (astral) world? You can put this question differently: is fate inevitable? In the cases I have reviewed, both options are equally visible. Cherkasov heeded the warning, and in reality the tragic event did not happen.

So all I have to do is to advise our readers: trust your intuition, your inner voice or your specific warning dreams, even if you have to give up your business, love or financial interests. There is no need to rush "there".
