On Sunday, March sixth, at the Lincoln Cathedral of the Virgin Mary, located in the English city of Lincoln, a strange white ball was captured on the camera of one of the visitors, flashing near a huge organ. Paul Jackson, the author of the video below, is convinced that he was lucky enough to photograph one of the ghosts that inhabit Christian temples that day.

According to local beliefs, the gothic cathedral, built at the end of the twelfth century, is inhabited by the ghosts of the townspeople who died from the plague, the ghost of a churchman in black clothes, a strange phantom in the form of an inverted cross, and even a little imp who likes to make riots here at night. However, no one had ever heard of a luminous ball, which is capable of moving at high speed.

According to the forty-six-year-old man, he went on a tour of the temple roof with his seven-year-old son. At some point, Jackson wanted to photograph the large Henry Willis organ below. Instead of a photograph, the Englishman accidentally chose the video recording function on his smartphone, and it was at this moment that an alleged ghost flashed near the church musical instrument. If you look closely, it literally appears for a couple of seconds in the eighth second of the video, moving from right to left.

Paul talks about the ghost

“It just looks like fate. If I turned on the photo mode instead of video, as I wanted, then I would hardly be able to capture this phantom. You know, ghosts appear to many people, but only a few manage to get evidence that they really saw the supernatural with their own eyes. And now I can safely call myself one of those lucky ones."

Immediately on the day of publication, the video quickly spread across various video hosting and paranormal sites, gathering tens of thousands of views and numerous comments. Some users did not doubt that this was some kind of supernatural phenomenon (not necessarily a real ghost), while others thought that it was a dove flying in a cathedral, a plastic bag or a glint of light.

“I really love Lincoln Cathedral in our city. This is an amazing place that can charge any person with positive energy, even those who are not religious. I want to believe that my video will encourage more people to visit this cute temple,”Jackson told reporters.
