New York-based illustrator Adam Ellis talks on social media about the unexplained phenomena that have recently haunted him. Adam claims to be hunted by the ghost of a dead boy with a broken head, who apparently wants to kill him.

Recently, Adam Ellis posted a strange tweet: "The ghost of a dead child is in my apartment and he is trying to kill me." Adam said that at first the dead boy appeared in his dreams. “I was in sleep paralysis when I saw him for the first time. The boy was sitting on a green chair by the bed. For a while he just looked at me, and then got up from his chair and staggered to the bed, - Adam recalls. "When he almost got to bed, I woke up screaming."

A few days after the incident, Adam dreamed of a girl in the library who said that the boy Adam saw was called Dear David. "He is dead. He only appears at midnight. You can ask him two questions if you first say, "Dear David." But never try to ask him the third question, otherwise he will kill you,”the girl from the dream explained to Ellis.

In another dream, David visited Adam again. Ellis began asking the boy about the reasons for his death. The ghost said that it was an accident in the store, someone knocked over a shelf on him. Adam asked the boy a third question, but he did not answer, and Adam woke up in horror. On the Internet, he tried to find at least some information about the death of the boy, but there was nothing.

Eventually, Adam moved to an apartment on the floor above. Several months passed quietly until Adam's cats began to behave strangely. “For the past four nights, my cats have been gathering at the front door at exactly midnight and just looking at it, as if there is someone on the other side. Last night I had a strange feeling and looked through the peephole. I'm sure there was some movement behind the door,”Adam tweeted.

A few weeks later, Adam spoke of a dream in which David was pulling his hand through an old warehouse. He woke up with a big bruise on his arm. But the guy decided that this dream was caused by trauma, and not vice versa.

Later, on the way for coffee, Adam walked past the warehouse, which was usually full, but this time it was empty. There was a green chair in the middle of the room.

Adam claims that he received a call from an unspecified number. When he picked up the phone, he heard only an electric crack, until one day from that end of the wire a child's voice whispered: "Hello." Horrified, Adam hung up. “I didn't know what to do. I drew the curtains all over the apartment, turned on the lights everywhere, and watched television until dawn because I was too afraid to go to bed. I feel like I'm going crazy,”said Adam.

Adam installed a motion-sensor video surveillance system at home that sends notifications to his phone every time a sensor is triggered. “I decided to check the camera over the weekend. I just didn’t spend the night at home and set up a camera before leaving. My phone periodically rang, notifying that cats were running around the apartment. It's okay,”wrote Adam.

Then something inexplicably creepy began. “At about 11 pm I got an alert again. When I connected to the camera in the apartment, I saw nothing. " After Adam reviewed the tape, he noticed that the rocking chair was swaying on its own: "I knew it couldn't be a draft because I didn't open the windows this summer (I have air conditioning and I like it when it's cool)" …

Half an hour later, Adam received the alert again. This time on the tape, he saw a tortoise shell fall, which was hanging on the wall above the bookcase.

In his last tweet, Adam wrote that he was taking Xanax and going to bed. Of course, Adam's subscribers are divided into two groups: some believe that Adam invents and there is a logical explanation for everything that happens. But there are those who give advice on dealing with ghosts, and also suggest finding the remains of a child, burning them and sprinkling salt around the apartment.
