Legends are made about the secrets of the Vatican, and one of the mysteries that has not been solved to this day is the story of Pellegrino Ernetti's father. This Benedictine monk became famous for having declared the creation of a certain Chronovisor - an apparatus that allowed to travel in time.

This monk was born in 1926 and spent almost all of his life on an island in the Gulf of Venice. He was interested in theology, prepolyphony, and the history of exorcism. His refuge on the island attracted like-minded people, and often a group of twelve scientists gathered, among whom were the creator of the V-2 rocket Wernher von Braun and the Nobel Prize winner Enrico Fermi. Together they tried to create what could only be dreamed of - time travel technology. And in 1972, Ernetti's father gave an interview in which he hinted at the existence of such an apparatus …
Austrian Peter Crassa has published a book dedicated to this mysterious story. He cited there some excerpts from eyewitness accounts. This technology worked on the basis of the Pythagorean theory that any musical sounds, leaving the instrument into space, pass into the state of atom-like particles and are stored in energy fields. Thus, you can access any information and any moment in history that has ever happened in the world.
As deeply religious people, Father Pellegrino and his team were primarily interested in key moments in our history. Ernetti, he claimed, saw with his own eyes the Sermon on the Mount of Christ, Napoleon, Cicero and even the crucifixion itself. He showed the photo, but it turned out to be a fake.

But even this did not confuse his adherents. Indeed, soon after the hype around this story, all the participants (and they were already aged) left for another world. And the Chronovisor was not mentioned anywhere else …
But the web is full of articles not on this topic, and some readers believe that the technology fell into the hands of the Vatican or was destroyed by the group itself. Ernetti himself argued in an interview whether it is good or evil, because with his help you can both establish the truth and plunge the world into chaos. One way or another, the truth in this story will never be known. Someone considers Ernetti a liar, someone is an unrecognized genius, but the world has never seen the Chronovisor, whether he was true or not …
