Mysterious lights
A group of students went out into nature for a couple of days. In the forest, boys and girls set up camp and in the evening, as usual, organized a small drinking party. Suddenly, the girls saw two glowing red dots near the camp. These dots flared up, then faded, as if someone was smoking in the dark, looking out from behind the trees a merry company. The girls, frightened, begged the guys to deal with the uninvited guests. They called out to the "smokers" and, without waiting for an answer, went to the lights. However, when they approached, the lights disappeared, and where they glowed a second ago, there was no one. The young people came back, and the fun continued. After some time, the red dots flashed again - and again the attempt to detect "smoking observers" failed. Throughout the night, mysterious lights "terrorized" the students,who for some reason could not even start the car to flee …
And in the predawn haze, in the very place where ominous red dots had been burning until recently, two blurry human figures appeared for a short time. It seemed that at a distance of about 25 meters, two men dressed in military uniforms were standing and smoking slowly … The very first rays of the sun scattered the foggy figures, and they disappeared without a trace!..
This time the car started right off the bat. In a nearby village, frightened students found a district police officer and told him about the strange event. He, contrary to their fears, took the situation seriously. Perhaps he was convinced by the excited look of the guys, or maybe such incidents were not uncommon here, but soon people arrived at the indicated place. As a result of excavations in an old shallow trench, the remains of two Soviet soldiers were found.

Tales of "black" archaeologists
And this story happened in the camp of "black" archaeologists on a dark summer night. After a day of searching, tired diggers sat by a small fire. There were ten people in their team. People talked with each other for a long time, some smoked … Then one of them wished to treat everyone else with exotic cigarettes brought from abroad. The pack went in a circle, and soon all ten people were smoking overseas tobacco with pleasure. But for some reason … eleven cigarettes were lit in the dark!..
As the most observant one, who decided to count the cigarette lights "for fun," later said, his hair stood on end at the thought that there was someone else among them. When this man told his comrades about his discovery, they froze, finally, one of the archaeologists asked: "Who is here?" In response, an unfamiliar voice said: "Nobody", after which one cigarette light disappeared.
Turning on the flashlight, the diggers found on the spot where the voice had come from, an extinguished, dented imported cigarette - the same one they had smoked themselves. Without waiting for the morning, the guys began excavations at the site of the "mysterious smoker" and at a depth of one and a half meters found the remains of a Red Army lieutenant. His belongings were well preserved, while the cigarette case was empty. The question "black" archaeologists ask themselves: how long was the ghost among them, until it was "figured out"?..
Eternal battles
To this day, residents of Belarusian villages are afraid to go to the forest at night. They say that not only shots are often heard there, but also commands given in German. Between the trees you can often see transparent figures, but if you aim the beam of a flashlight at them, the figures dissolve … Anyone who dares to stay in the night forest for a long time will hear soft explosions and distinct sounds of shots, even the swearing of Soviet soldiers still attacking …
However, knowledgeable people do not advise staying in such places, since there is a possibility that the traveler will not be able to return back, he will simply disappear - and there are many such cases. Old-timers here say that if you go deep into the swamps, you can get into the epicenter of a ghostly battle, in which translucent figures kill each other again and again. In the swamps, you can also see fires, but you shouldn't approach them and disturb the rest of the ghosts …
But the most amazing thing happened in 1967. in the village of Zhichin. A company of soldiers in the Soviet marching uniform of the times of the Patriotic War entered there. The young lieutenant asked the local old women what kind of village it was, and, having received an answer, began to specify in which direction Vitebsk was. Then he asked for water and food, paying for everything. When the company departed in the direction indicated by the old women, it turned out that the lieutenant had paid with Soviet rubles in 1934. release.
