Remains of a small pyramid in "good condition" dating back to the 13th Dynasty of the Pharaohs (1802-1640 BC) was discovered at the archaeological site of the Dahshur necropolis near Cairo, Egypt. The age of the pyramid is estimated at 3700 years. The excavation is still in its infancy and the true size of the pyramid has not yet been determined. The photographs provided by the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities show the stone blocks and the beginning of the corridor.

Egyptian archaeologists claim that the discovered corridor leads to the inner part of the pyramid, continues with a ramp and then enters a separate room. "The team will continue excavating at the site to explore the rest of the pyramid," the archaeologists said in a statement.

In addition, archaeologists have found a small block of blackened alabaster with hieroglyphic inscriptions, as well as a granite lintel and stone blocks that will help you learn more about the "internal architecture of the pyramid."

The discovery was made near the pyramid of Dashur, built by the pharaoh Snefrou. This pharaoh was the founder of the IV dynasty (2600 BC) and the father of the pharaoh Cheops, who later gave his name to one of the famous Egyptian pyramids on the Giza plateau.

Whether the found pyramid contains treasures, or the knowledge of the ancients is hidden there, remains a mystery. The whole world is watching the excavations and expects sensations.
