UFO exploration that crashed, experiments on aliens, time travel, the meeting place of the world government and other incredible stories and guesses in the same spirit - all these so-called "conspiracy theories" are associated with the famous secret US military base, which was called "Zone 51".
The history of the base dates back to the 40s of the last century. The exact date of its creation is unknown, and the secret object acquired publicity after an event that took place in 1947. This episode was included in the historical chronicles under the name "Roswell Incident", it was he who drew attention to the "Area 51".
This is the mythical UFO crash near Roswell, New Mexico in July 1947. The fragments of an unknown object were allegedly discovered then by a local farmer. According to him, the pieces of the unknown object were made of a material that resembled foil, and when any deformation was attempted, it took its previous shape.
A few days after this discovery, the base command confirmed to the press that it was a so-called "flying disk" that had crashed. The military collected all the debris and released the official version that these are just the remains of a weather balloon.
Later in 1978, Major Jesse Marcel, who was involved in the investigation of those events, said that the military had hidden the discovered alien spacecraft. After this interview, people started talking about the Roswell incident with renewed vigor. There were "witnesses" who claimed that, in addition to UFOs, they saw representatives of extraterrestrial civilization. The number of mythical aliens varied from two to four, according to the testimony of different people. However, the very description of the aliens coincided in a strange way.
Already in the 90s, this topic was so deeply rooted in the minds of citizens that even US congressmen began to submit official requests demanding to finally explain what happened near Roswell in the summer of 1947. It wasn't until 1994 that the US Air Force published an official account of those events. In it, the previous version of the found remains of the so-called "flying disc" was somewhat clarified.

Representatives of the secret base continued to adhere to the version of the remnants of the meteorological balloon, but this time they added that this device was designed and launched as part of the Mogul program, whose task was to reconnaissance tests by the Soviet Union of atomic weapons, which fully explained the secrecy at that time and non-disclosure of the found object.
However, this version did not satisfy everyone, and many people still believe that the government, having gained access to alien technology, evacuated the wreckage of the flying object along with its crew to the Zone 51 base, where it conducted its experiments on the find. These guesses were reinforced by the fact that the Pentagon had recently refused to acknowledge the existence of a secret base, and officially announced it only in 2013.
Today, the stories about "Area 51" have formed the plots of many books, films and TV series. Based on these facts, computer games are being developed. And although the authorities still tried to explain the purpose of the creation and existence of this base, many still cannot part with the myth of the unknown, which has been created and maintained for decades.
