"Childbirth" was received by the workers of one of the supermarkets in the city of Seversk, packing eggs in the back room. Confused store workers called the sales representative Anastasia Fomicheva: she is an intermediary between the supermarket and poultry factories that supply eggs to Seversk.
“I took a video camera and rushed to the store in order to have time to film everything,” says Fomicheva. “I have been working with poultry farms in the Novosibirsk and Kemerovo regions
for several years, but so that …” The correspondent of the newspaper, who also went to the store after the news about the chicken, was greeted unfriendly in the supermarket:
“Nobody hatched here!”
Store managers, understandably, don't want to ruin their reputation with a hatched chicken.
“Breeding a chicken is very difficult,” explains Alexander Tabakaev, head of the State Veterinary Service of Seversk. - The egg must be fertilized. For 21 days it must be kept indoors at a temperature not lower than +30 at a certain air humidity …”If a chick could hatch in a store, then, according to livestock technician Anton Savelyev, only if the eggs from the hatchery and production workshops were confused at the poultry farm. A chicken could only hatch from an incubator egg. But in a supermarket, this is almost impossible.
However, as Fomicheva assures, the miracle chicken is still alive. One of the saleswomen took him to her place.
