A visit to a hospital evokes a wide variety of emotions in people. Here the birth of a new life takes place and, on the contrary, close people pass away. Therefore, it is not surprising that supernatural things can happen in it. So a patient in a hospital in the English county of Staffordshire experienced the experience of astral projection.
Peter had an operation, and although it was not very serious, he was nervous and afraid of general anesthesia. But, thinking that at the age of 47 it was time for him to be more confident, he pulled himself together. His younger brother took him to the hospital, and after talking to him, Peter felt much calmer.
Peter is a rather large man, so he has problems with mobility. Heavy weight caused him to develop a condition called sleep apnea, in which ventilation of the lungs stops for more than 10 seconds. He was forced to use an apparatus to maintain regular breathing during his sleep, and doctors recommended that he take it with him just in case he needed it after surgery.

Peter looked to the left. Then to the right. Nobody. The room was empty. He walked away from the anesthetic and thought it was just auditory hallucinations. Everything was calm. He fell asleep again, and then a voice woke him. The same voice.
“Just take your time. You will feel insecure at first,”the voice said.
Peter opened his eyes and looked around the room. He was alone. After 20 minutes, the nurse came, took his blood pressure and heart rate, and left after the doctor showed up.

The doctor confidently informed him that the operation had gone well, and when Peter asked if his brother had come, he answered in the negative. Peter thought something strange was happening to him. He was sure that someone was talking to him.
After the doctor left, he lay back on the bed and after a moment did not understand what was happening to him - he looked down at his body.
“I was looking at myself in a hospital bed,” Peter told Paranormal Investigator Damon Simms. “It was not a dream, because I could feel the cold air from the open window, hospital smells and even the structure of the ceiling tiles every time I flew up to them and touched my back.”
He saw the nurse come in again and look at the instruments. When she left, she dropped the pen to the floor, and it rolled under the bed. From above, Peter noticed that it was red. Suddenly he felt a sharp thud in his chest and woke up in his body.
Peter's brother laughed after hearing his experience. But Peter insisted that everything happened in reality, and as proof asked his brother to look under the bed: "There is a red handle."
His brother knelt down, giggling, and froze in surprise. There was a red pen under the bed. Knowing that Peter had mobility problems and would not be able to see what was under the bed, his brother was shocked.
