There is a fierce debate between physicists and lyricists about psychic abilities. Some claim that such abilities do not exist, because they cannot be proven using instruments. Others argue with the same vehemence that there are such phenomena, and they themselves have experienced more than once that which cannot be explained using ordinary concepts. Who is right?

Physicists and lyricists: worldviews are incompatible

According to the perception of the world, people are divided into two parts. It must be said right away that the perception of the world arises involuntarily and depends on which hemisphere of the human brain is the determining one. For example, the left hemisphere is responsible for sign operations, analysis, logic. And the right hemisphere is responsible for emotions, images, fantasy, intuition.

Therefore, people see the world and the phenomena occurring in it differently. Physicists have the most developed left hemisphere. They make scientists, mathematicians, financiers, etc. And lyricists are those whose main hemisphere is right. They make poets, actors, artists and psychics.

Physicists and lyricists look at life from different positions, sometimes opposite ones. Therefore, it is difficult for them to understand each other. Although there are people in whom both hemispheres of the brain are harmoniously developed. They are geniuses like Leonardo da Vinci. As you know, he was both a brilliant artist and an outstanding inventor, far ahead of his time.

So, physicists are firmly convinced that psychic abilities do not exist, since their presence has not been scientifically proven. They say that people believed to be psychics have been repeatedly examined using laboratory devices. But their abilities were not confirmed. Like, there is not a single experiment, the conclusions of which could be attributed to evidence-based science. Therefore, many scientists consider extrasensory perception one of the common pseudoscientific delusions.

But the lyricists know perfectly well that intuition, fantasy, imagination are not empty words. These phenomena exist! Therefore, extrasensory abilities also exist.

Physicists recognize only five senses, such as sight, hearing, smell, touch, and taste. And the lyricists know that there is also the so-called "sixth sense". This is intuition. It cannot be touched by hands, there is no corresponding organ for it (like eyes or ears). But she is! No wonder this concept - "sixth sense", has existed for a very long time. Agree, if it were not for it, the concept would not have arisen.

By the way, not all scientists are tough against psychic abilities. An example is Natalya Petrovna Bekhtereva. She is an internationally renowned researcher of brain activity, academician who was the scientific director of the Brain Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Natalia Bekhtereva spoke with great respect about the Bulgarian clairvoyant Vanga. She visited her in Bulgaria, talked to her and was amazed that the clairvoyant told her amazing information about her relatives, which Bekhtereva did not know about and which were later confirmed. Bekhtereva wrote about this in her book "The Magic of the Brain and the Labyrinths of Life." There, she said that she herself also saw amazing prophetic dreams, which later came true.

However, pundits could not accept this and criticized Academician Bekhtereva for her "tolerant attitude towards mysticism."

By the way, the well-known forensic psychologist, Doctor of Medicine Mikhail Vinogradov (known as an expert on the TV show "The Battle of Psychics") has been studying psychics, people with a special sensitivity of perception, for many years. Which also proves their existence.

Different people have different abilities

There is one more important point. All people are endowed with different abilities, and to varying degrees. Can anyone become a great physicist like Einstein? No, there are few such geniuses. Can anyone become an outstanding mathematician like Perelman? No, such people are born once every hundred years.

And the lyrics - are there many artists in the world like Leonardo da Vinci, sculptors like Michelangelo, composers like Tchaikovsky?

In order to create outstanding scientific discoveries or brilliant works of art, one must have the appropriate abilities.

Psychics are people with outstanding abilities, an extraordinary sixth sense and a fantastically developed intuition. There are also few such people.

How the church relates to extrasensory perception

In Orthodoxy, it is believed that extrasensory abilities come from the devil, therefore, parishioners are not recommended to believe in them.

However … The same priests are convinced that the miracles that Jesus performed (turned water into wine, fed five thousand people with five loaves of bread, healed a blind man, etc.) are true. They say that these miracles are given from God, so they are righteous.

How does it happen - thus, the church recognizes that miracles do happen? It turns out that the difference is that some miracles are “legal”, while others are “illegal”?..

Are there many psychics or not enough?

As mentioned above, there are very few true psychics, and they remain in the memory of generations for a long time. Such were Wolf Messing, Michel Nostradamus, Wanga and others.

But there are many more who want to make money on this! That is why all kinds of services are proliferating for removing the evil eye and damage, lapel and love spell, returning the husband to the family, healing from drunkenness, etc. This is no longer extrasensory perception, but an ordinary business.

Unfortunately, in Russia, such activities are regulated rather vaguely. In order to open such a salon, you need to obtain a license. To do this, you must submit a document confirming the availability of medical education (not necessarily a medical level).

However, if the person providing such services harms the health or life of the client, they can be brought to justice. Sometimes these "psychics" are involved in fraud.

But no business can exist without clients. And, unfortunately, they are. What kind of people are affected by this? Those who are not confident in themselves, have doubts when making important decisions, are not able to analyze the reasons for various events (for example, why the husband left for another, or why things are not going well in business).

Such people become easy prey for fake "psychics" who want to make money from their troubles.

In fact, such people would be better helped by qualified psychologists who would be able to relieve them of complexes, instill confidence in themselves, with the help of which they could productively solve their life issues.
