Dr. Kurt Pfliger, who worked as a pediatrician at a private clinic in Dallas, Texas for over 20 years, was temporarily suspended from medical practice. The reason was the complaints of patients that the doctor suddenly began to behave very strangely.

The physician's behavior was described as bizarre and dangerous. Moreover, they said that "he behaves as if possessed by demons."

According to the CBS News branch in North Texas, the doctor showed the first signs of strange behavior back in January 2018. Employees of the same clinic said that during the examination of a two-year-old boy, the doctor wanted to fight the child with his fists, and then decided to throw him over his shoulder and dropped the child on the floor with his head down.

Later, the doctor began to bring the dog with him to the office and lay with it on the floor in the corridor, and all the patients had to bypass them. Then he began to stay late at work for unknown reasons, and he was also repeatedly noticed in dirty and sweaty clothes and smelled from him as if the doctor had not taken a shower for at least three days.

But the most alarming symptom was his strange phrases, which he spoke aloud, but addressing it is not clear to whom. Dr. Pfliger reportedly walked into the patient waiting room and began to recite a prayer aloud, and in the middle of the prayer began to shout “Satan! Satan!”, Terrifyingly frightening adults and children.

Sometimes he came to work in a completely abnormal state, unable to speak clearly. It was speculated that he was drunk or even drugged, but there was no evidence of this.

Occasionally, while seemingly normal, Dr. Pfliger would suddenly start slapping colleagues, shouting that "their sexual behavior is inappropriate," and on one occasion he even called an urgent doctoral council just to announce his "intimate status." …

Then everything was even worse. The doctor just started handing out prescriptions for drugs to patients and others, saying that he would prescribe any medicine they wanted. In this case, he violated federal law and his position hung in the balance. And the last straw before the suspension was the case when the doctor came to work in crumpled pajamas and weeping bitterly.

“I am very glad that he was removed. He definitely needed a break,”says Leslie Cook, one of the doctor’s regular patients who regularly came to see him with her child.“It should be good for him, the doctor should be clear-headed, rested and happy.”

It may seem that this is just an isolated case, but similar behavior was noticed last year with a doctor from New Jersey. In December 2017, Dr. Sharon C. Worosilo's medical license was suspended due to her bizarre behavior towards patients.

Sharon works as an anesthesiologist and any oversight can cost the patient his life. Several patients reported that Dr. Vorosilo spoke strange words to them, in one case she brandished a knife, threatening, and in another she stubbornly called the patient a dirty drug addict.

In another case, the doctor tried to forcibly inject the patient into the spine, being completely insane.

There were other examples of inappropriate behavior, which led to the suspicion that the doctor was abusing psychoactive substances. The doctor did not appear at the medical council, at which it was decided to remove her (so far temporary).
