Thomas Zurbuken, assistant director of the United States National Aerospace Agency, is confident that in the next twenty years, a human foot will still set foot on the surface of the Red Planet.

There is no particular scientific sense in this, but landing on Mars is a fundamental task for NASA.

The fulfillment of this goal will indicate that people have finally reached the degree of technological progress that allows them to travel to other planets.

“I hope that within the next two decades we will still send astronauts to Mars. This will most likely happen in the 2030s. But it is too early to talk about exact dates - they depend not only on NASA, but also on our numerous partners. Plus, the level of funding will play an important role,”Zurbuken said.

According to which, the Mars mission still runs into some technical problems.

"The engines that propel spacecraft are still too slow, life support systems are too unreliable, and in general, problems, if we talk about a flight to Mars, arise just at every turn," adds a NASA spokesman.
