It happened in the 1960s in the Brazilian city of Jaboticabal, located northeast of Sao Paulo. The poltergeist, who turned out to be a very evil spirit, chose an eleven-year-old girl as a victim.

The persecution began in 1965, when bricks suddenly began to fall out of nowhere in the house where young Maria Jose Ferreira lived. They seemed to materialize out of thin air.

A few days later, when falling bricks and stones broke many things in the house, the family realized that the evil spirit would not leave them alone just like that. The people called in a priest who performed the exorcism. But the spirit seemed to grow even angrier, and its attacks - more aggressive. Stones and bricks (the largest weighed 3.7 kg) began to destroy everything in the house with a vengeance. They added eggs, dishes, various household utensils and even furniture.

At the center of these monstrous attacks was the unfortunate Maria. She was beaten, bitten and pushed by an invisible enemy. One day she was attacked by sewing needles that appeared under the poor man's skin. As many as 55 were removed from the ankle alone! On March 14, 1966, while the girl was eating lunch at school, her clothes began to smolder and smoke. After a year of incessant attacks, Maria was taken to the medium.

According to the clairvoyant Joao Volpe, the girl had a special gift: she could communicate with ghosts. Some of them were friendly and did not harm her. But Volpe was unable to protect Maria from the evil spirit.

And then the girl was taken to the center for spiritual practices, where another medium, Chico Javier, began to work with her. He found out that in a past life Maria was a witch, killed many people, and among them there was a man whose spirit began to haunt her in the form of a poltergeist. The main task of the ghost was to make his abuser suffer. And nothing could stop him. After several months of prayer and fasting, the girl was sent home.

Five years later, Maria was found dead. She was poisoned. It is believed that in this way the girl decided to get rid of the unbearable suffering caused by the spirit. After Maria's death, the poltergeist disappeared forever.
