What follows is a selection of UFO reports from September 1952. The maneuvers began on 13 September and lasted twelve days. According to the US Navy, “with the participation of Denmark and Norway, there were 80,000 people, 1,000 aircraft and 200 NATO ships.

It is possible that the presidential observation and "excellent war photos" were never published. (USA, England, New Zealand, Denmark, etc.). In this case, we are talking about UFOs and USOs (unidentified underwater objects), which could not require more plausible evidence than Operation Mainbrace.

September 13 - the Danish destroyer Willemes, participating in the maneuvers, was located north of the island of Bornholm. During the night, Lieutenant Commander Schmidt Jensen and several crew members discovered an unidentified triangular object that was moving at high speed in the southeast. The subject gave off a bluish glow. Commander Jensen estimates the speed to be over 900 mph.

September 19 - British jet aircraft returning to Topcliff airfield, Yorkshire, England. Lieutenant John W. Kilburn and other observers on the ground said the UFO stopped when the plane circled.

September 20 - US personnel. The aircraft carrier Franklin D. Roosevelt, participating in the Mainbrace maneuvers, noticed a silvery spherical object that was also photographed. (Photos have never been released to the public.) The UFO moved across the sky behind the fleet. Reporter Wallace Lytvyn took a series of color photographs that were checked by Navy intelligence officers.

To the project managers, Captain Ruppelt said: “The photos were excellent.,,, Judging by the size of the object in each subsequent shot, you could see that it was moving quickly. “The possibility that the balloon was launched from one of the ships was immediately tested. Not a single unit launched a balloon this time. A bad print of one of the photographs appears in the Project Blue Book files, but no analytic report.

September 20 - At Karup Field in Denmark, three Danish Air Force officers spotted a UFO around 7:30 pm. The object, a shiny, metallic disc, passed overhead from the side of the fleet and disappeared into the clouds to the east.

September 21 - Six British pilots flying an Air Force plane over the North Sea saw a shiny sphere approaching from the side of the fleet. The UFO eluded pursuit and disappeared. Returning to base, one of the pilots looked around and saw a UFO following him. He turned to chase him, but the UFO also turned and rushed away.

September 27/28 - UFO reports were widespread throughout West Germany, Denmark and southern Sweden. A brightly luminous object with a comet-like tail was visible for a long time, moving near Hamburg and Carina. In one case, three objects were reported to have moved around a larger object. A cigar-shaped object was also reported moving quietly eastward.

Since existing documentation shows that the US Air Force and Air Force naval and intelligence forces have studied these incidents, it is safe to assume that more information is available in the archives of NATO, the UK Air Force, the US Navy and the US Air Force.
