In Japan, the archives of the Iwase Bunko Depository contain a medieval document known as "Hyouryuukishuu" and translated as "Tales of the Shipwrecked."

The document was created at the end of the Edo period (Edo period - the historical period (1603-1868) of Japan, during the reign of the Tokugawa clan) and contemporaries call it nothing but "UFO of the Edo period." The manuscript tells about Japanese sailors who, after a shipwreck, were thrown into a foreign land inhabited by an indigenous people.

During the Edo period, when Japan was essentially a closed society from the whole world, such stories were apparently very unusual.

Simultaneously with the story about the sailors, the book contains a story about a certain strange ship that appeared on the coast of the town of Harashagahama. The dimensions of the structure were 3 meters high and 5 meters wide. The ship looked like it was built of mahogany and metal with crystals. In the ship was a young woman in an ornate attire, with a pale face and bright red eyebrows and lips. She looked about 18-20 years old.

With those who saw her, she tried to speak in a language unfamiliar to people. The woman held a strange object in her hands and did not allow anyone to approach her.

See the video below for more details on the incident from an old Japanese book.
