In Italy, over the past 2009, a real boom in UFO sightings in the sky was recorded. The general security department of military aeronautics received 12 signals from people who saw strange flying objects
For example, in 2008 there were 9 such cases, and in 2007 only 3. Of course, the inclusion of the fact of UFO detection - i.e. "Unidentified flying object" - in the corresponding article in the security department of military aeronautics, cannot mean that aliens are among us.
The military does record reports from various sources, but does not assess their credibility. However, a technical investigation is underway and the episode is only classified as a UFO sighting when "it is not possible to give it a technical or natural explanation." For example, this was the case when, on January 25, 2009, “a red luminous ball hanging in the sky” at an altitude of “about 200-300 meters” was seen by several people in the sky over Tenna, in Trentino. Another UFO sighting was recorded on March 6, 2009 (“a dark object with orange illumination that emitted a dazzling white beam of light towards the ground”) in San Benedetto Val di Sambro (Bologna). And on June 12, the alleged UFO,having an "elongated rocket-like shape" and "luminous fiery red" observed in Conversano (Bari) and in various regions of Apulia, Basilicata and Calabria; On June 13, some residents of Milan saw the "group of 9-11 spheres". On the 21st of the same month, "seven objects that are three times the size of a star" were noted in Giugliano (Campania). But on August 9, the UFO shifted to Tuscany, where an object of indefinite shape, "dark gray" in color and "constantly revolving around itself" was seen. In October 2009, there were also three UFO sightings. One of them, which was seen on October 18 in Bolzano, can be especially noted, since this sighting was announced not only by private individuals, but even representatives of the "local church authorities" saw UFOs here. The unidentified flying object had a "triangular" shape and was "colorless". The latter case was reported in 2009 in Avellino, where on Christmas Eve some people saw a "glowing orange" disc rotating at an altitude of approximately 300 meters.
