It is generally accepted that the era of "flying saucers" began in the 20th century. However, this is not true. Reports of observations of strange objects and creatures can be found in the ancient chronicles of any people who have ever inhabited the Earth. You can, of course, dismiss them, referring to the fact that the "dark" people had too rich imagination, inhabiting the circling space with fictional spirits and gods. But many researchers of the chronicles think differently, pointing out, in particular, that the details given in the chronicles have no analogues in the mythology of disappeared civilizations.

WHAT HID THE PYRAMID?

On June 5, 1952, an archaeological expedition led by Albert Ruz Luier and his three companions made a remarkable discovery in the jungle of Yucatan. She conducted research in the vicinity of the striking monuments of Palenque, which towered in the County of Xiapaz near the famous Mayan village. The Yucatan region is known for its humid and hot climate, thanks to which tropical vegetation reliably hid temples and pyramids built by the Maya in its wilds.

“This civilization has attracted attention thanks to the genius of its architects. One of the most impressive structures in Palenque is the Inscription Pyramid. It looks like a truncated pyramid with a long staircase at the front. There is a large temple at the top of the pyramid. What could such a monument serve? In pondering this question, Luier and his colleagues suggested that the pyramid was built as a grave for some particularly important person. With this idea, they set about looking for some passage or stairs leading into the pyramid,"

On June 15, the expedition discovered a series of ladders hidden in this gigantic structure that led underground. The staircase was made in accordance with the Mayan tradition: sloping walls, giving the upper part a tall conical shape and ending with a narrow ceiling. At the bottom of the staircase was a magnificent crypt. It contained a sarcophagus, closed with an ordinary engraved lattice with twelve rods on one side and seven on the other. This slab, ten inches thick, weighed about six tons. The creation of the Maya artists was well preserved, even the smallest details were clearly visible. Archaeologists have not yet figured out their purpose.

It is believed that the Mayan civilization disappeared without even inventing the elementary concepts of technology. Meanwhile, the drawing, made on the sarcophagus from Palenque, shows a man driving a complex machine. From the fact that this man's knees are almost pressed to his chest, and he himself relies on a complex mechanism from which flames burst, some scientists have suggested that the Maya had contact with the messengers of a highly developed civilization. It is difficult to find confirmation of this interpretation, but the only object that we know today and which is very similar to the Mayan drawing is a spaceship.

However, of particular interest is the demigod for whom the sarcophagus, crypt and pyramid were built with such skill. His body is somewhat different in structure from the body of the Maya, as we imagine it. This body of a man is almost two meters tall, that is, much more than the average height of the Maya Indians. According to the French archaeologist Pierre Honore, this sarcophagus was built for the Great White God”- Kukulkan. In the end, the clue to this mystery has not yet been found, and the tropical jungles of Central America, where dozens of temples and pyramids are still hidden under lush vegetation, until the mystery of the Palenque sarcophagus was solved."

HEAVENLY SIGNS

“On September 24, 1235, General Yuritsuma was camped with his army. Suddenly, a curious event happened: mysterious light sources moved back and forth across the sky, they circled in the south-west, leaving traces behind them, and all this continued until the morning. General Yuritsuma gave the order to start advanced scientific research, as they would say today, and his colleagues set to work. It didn't take them long to complete the report."

This is perfectly normal, General, as they briefly reported. - It's just the wind stirring up the stars.

"Medieval commentator Yusuki Matsumura sadly adds on this point: Scholars paid by the government have always made ambiguous reports!"

Celestial phenomena were so commonplace for Japan in the Middle Ages that it seems that they directly influenced the events that happen to people. They were associated with rebellions, uprisings and popular unrest. Japanese peasants interpreted the sky signs as serious omens, which in their own way inspired them to resent and protest against the feudal system and foreign invasion. They thought their uprisings would be crowned with success. There are many examples of such incidents. For example, on September 12, 1271, the famous priest Nihiren was supposed to be executed in Tat-sunokuchi (Kamakura), but at that moment a shiny and luminous object appeared in the sky, resembling the full moon. Needless to say, the officials were in a panic and the execution did not take place.

“On August 3, 989, during the period of great civil unrest, three round objects and one more, glowing with unearthly light, were seen. After a while, they connected. In 1361, a drum-shaped flying object took off from an island in western Japan."

On January 2, 1458, a brilliant object was seen in the sky that looked like a full moon, and this phenomenon was followed by "strange signs" in the sky and on earth. Two months later, on March 7, 1458, 5 stars appeared, forming a circle around the moon, They changed color three times and suddenly disappeared. The rulers, deeply shocked, saw these signs as harbingers of great unrest in the country. All residents of Kyoto expected disasters to begin, and even the emperor himself succumbed to this mood.

“Similar phenomena were repeated in the 17th and 18th centuries. For example, in May 1606, fireballs were seen over Kyoto, and one evening, numerous samurai suddenly saw one fireball, similar to a red wheel, circling over Niyo Castle. The next morning, the city looked like a beehive and people were whispering: This must be an omen."

“When on January 2, 1749, three round objects resembling the moon appeared in the sky and remained motionless for four days, chaos reigned in Japan. There was such a strong popular unrest associated with these heavenly mysteries that the government decided to act. Those who took part in the riots were executed. The confusion intensified when people noticed three moons in a row in the sky, and a few days later - two suns."

In all cases, these stories testify that the life of people in ancient times was full of mysterious incidents that they could not explain. It is enough to briefly familiarize yourself with the archives of medieval Eastern Europe to be convinced that such a hype around flying objects and paranormal phenomena often occurred there.

In 1575, Pierre Boestuo remarked:

The face of the sky changed so often with bearded and shaggy comets, torches, lights, columns, spears, shields, dragons, moons, numerous suns and other objects of this kind that, if there was a desire to count the phenomena that occurred since the Birth of Jesus Christ, and find the reasons their appearance, human life would not be enough for this.

According to the 1594 edition of the same book, this is what happened a few miles from Tübingen, Germany on December 5, 1577:

Many black clouds appeared around the sun, as is the case with a thunderstorm, and other clouds appeared from the sun, yellow like saffron. From these clouds came streams of light in the form of large, high and wide caps, and the earth itself seemed to be yellow, bloody, covered with tall, wide caps that took on different colors - red, blue, green, but most of all black … Any can quite simply guess the meaning of this miracle and find out that God wants people to repent, that Almighty God helps all people to recognize him in this sign. Amen.

We are of undoubted interest in the fact that these celestial objects are very similar to the UFOs of our days.

CLOSE CONTACTS IN MEDIEVAL EUROPE

“In the books of Archbishop Agobar of Lyons, you can also find interpretations referring to beings that cross the heavens and descend to earth. Born in Spain in 779, Agobar arrived in France at the age of three, where he later became archbishop at the age of 37. One of the most famous and enlightened prelates of the ninth century left behind an interesting account of a momentous incident:"

We have seen and heard many people immersed in such great stupidity, in such depths of madness that they believed in the existence of a certain area, which they called Magonia, where ships flew in the clouds, delivering earthly fruits here to prevent hail and storm, sailors paid tribute to the storm sorcerers, while they themselves received grain and other products. Among these people, whose blind madness was deep enough to allow them to believe such things, I noticed four tied hand and foot, who stood out from the crowd - three men and a woman. They claimed to have fallen out of these ships. They were brought to us so that the crowd would not stone them. But the truth prevailed.

In the Middle Ages, so many such stories were described that the problem of communication with unearthly creatures became the predominant occupation of alchemists and an important part of their philosophy. Paracelsus wrote an entire book on the nature of these creatures, but took great care to warn readers about the dangers that can arise from contact with them:

“I would not like to speak here (because of the troubles that may fall on the heads of those who want to experience it) about the agreement that allows contact with these creatures, and through which they appear and speak with us. In a passage entitled Why These Creatures Appear To Us, he proposes this ingenious theory:"

Any thing created by God sooner or later manifests itself in a person. Sometimes God contrasts this with the devil and the oazum in order to convince everyone of their existence. From the heights of heaven, he also sends his angels and servants. Thus, these creatures come to us not in order to stay among us and unite with us, but so that we can finally understand them. In truth, these phenomena are quite rare. But why should it be otherwise? Isn't it enough for one of us to see an angel for everyone else to believe in the existence of other angels? Paracelsus was born in 1491. This is the same year that Fatius Cardanus noted the appearance of seven strange visitors, akin to heavenly creatures, incredibly interested in the great philosopher. This account was in the records of his son Jerome Cardan (1501-1576),who is well known to us as a great mathematician.

“Jerome Cardan lived in Milan and was not only a mathematician, but also an occultist and physicist. In his book E) e Sitle Cardan says that he quite often heard a story from his father, and extracts a description of this event from the archives.

“August 13, 1491. When I finished my usual daily activities, at about 8 o'clock in the evening, 7 people suddenly appeared to me, dressed in silk clothes, similar to Greek togas, and wearing shiny shoes. The robes they wore under the gleaming red plastron appeared to be woven from bright red cloth and were of incredible beauty.

Not all, however, were dressed alike, only those who seemed to have a higher position than others. The largest, with a red face, had two attendants. The other, with a lighter face and smaller stature, was with three attendants. Thus, there were seven of them in total. It is impossible to say for sure whether they were wearing hats. They were, apparently, about 40 years old, at least not less. When asked who they were, they called themselves people made of thin air, but born and mortal. True, their life is longer than ours and can last up to 300 years. When asked about the immortality of our soul, they replied that nothing will survive a person who has a soul. When my father asked why they didn’t reveal to people the location of the treasures they knew about, they answered, that it is forbidden to them by the FORCE of a special law punishing the one who reveals this information to people with the heaviest punishment. They talked to my father for over three hours. But when he asked a question regarding the founding of the universe, they differed. The largest among them claimed that God created the world! time immemorial. Another, on the contrary, said that God created the world little by little, in such a way that if he stopped in its creation even for a moment, the world would perish … Whatever it was - a fact or a fable - but this is the case. Another, on the contrary, said that God created the world little by little, in such a way that if he stopped in its creation even for a moment, the world would perish … Whatever it was - a fact or a fable - but this is the case. Another, on the contrary, said that God created the world little by little, in such a way that if he stopped in its creation even for a moment, the world would perish … Whatever it was - a fact or a fable - but this is the case.

And here is another very remarkable case. Almost 300 years later, in September 1768, a 16-year-old young man was returning to the University of Leipzig with two fellow travelers from Frankfurt. Most of the way passed in the rain, and sometimes the carriage barely climbed up the road. Once, when the travelers had to get out of the carriage and follow the horses on foot, the young man noticed a strange luminous object not high above the ground.

Suddenly, in a ravine to the left of the road, I saw a kind of beautifully lit amphitheater. In the air there were innumerable small trumpet-shaped lamps.

The young man in question was called Goethe. This curious description can be found in the sixth book of the autobiography of the great poet.

“Wouldn't the German poet and scientist have had an opportunity to learn more about these luminous creatures if he had lived in the 20th century? If it were possible to resurrect Paracelsus, would he not have found new materials for his theories about the nature of these strange and fleeting races - creatures that came from heaven?.."

I think we can say with a high degree of certainty that their attention would immediately have been attracted by the archives relating to UFO landings.
