Renowned ufologist Scott K. Waring has suggested that Oxo Crater, the brightest formation on the dwarf planet Ceres, is the entrance to an underground alien base.
On January 25, 2017, photos taken by the automated space station Rassvet, which has been in orbit of Ceres since 2015, were exhibited on the official NASA website.
One of the images shows the Oxo crater with a diameter of 10 km. This is a very unusual crater. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that the inner cone of the crater is formed on one side of a bright white material, presumably ice, and on the other side there is a deep dark rift.
Some scientists suggest that the cause of the formation of a deep crack in the crater could be stresses in the Earth's crust of Ceres or the impact of a massive space body, such as an asteroid.
However, ufologist Scott Waring enters the discussion with a new assumption. He believes that the dark rectangular hole in the Oxo crater, measuring 100 meters by 500 meters, is ideal for entering an underground alien base.
“Life underground is many times safer than on the surface. But there is also bad news, if aliens prefer to live underground, then it is really dangerous on the surface of this planet …”, the ufologist expressed his opinion.
