As we can see, many inhabitants of our planet are unhappy with the results of the presidential elections in the United States. Among these individuals there are many ufologists, conspiracy theorists and just people who believe in aliens. They believe that the victory of Donald Trump, who ran for the Republican Party, could bury the truth about the aliens hidden by the American government. Why do they think so?
Clinton's UFO Promise
The fact is that Democrat Hillary Clinton promised, in the event of her victory, to make public top secret documents of the White House concerning aliens and unidentified flying objects. Of course, the promises of politicians who need votes should be taken with caution, but ufologists from all over the world still hoped that the former first lady would take at least some steps to declassify government information about representatives of extraterrestrial civilizations. Clinton has repeatedly stated that she herself is interested in ufology, therefore she does not want to keep her “hobby friends” in the dark about this issue.
Earlier this year, Clinton told The Conway Daily Sun that if she became president, she would certainly publish all the classified documents about aliens held by the US government. “I plan to deal with this to the end. It seems to me that we are really visited by aliens, but I have no complete confidence in this,”the politician said then. The Democrat, among other things, promised to make public information about the legendary Area 51 in Nevada. According to rumors, the US military is holding the flying saucer and the remains of its pilot there in 1947, and is also designing futuristic aircraft based on alien technology.
By the way, Bill Clinton, being in his time as president, stated that Area 51 has nothing to do with aliens, and its increased security and secrecy are allegedly explained by the fact that stealth aircraft are being developed here, without any extraterrestrial technology. Maybe something has changed at the secret military base since then? Or maybe Bill didn't tell his wife everything from the very beginning?
Is Clinton really interested in aliens?

One would think that Hillary started pretending to be a lover of ufology only during the election race, but this is far from the case.
The former first lady has indeed long been interested in aliens and UFOs. She was friends with the now-deceased wealthy Lawrence Rockefeller, who repeatedly called on the American government to tell the people the truth about the aliens. In 1995, Clinton and Rockefeller even set up a special fund with the goal of exposing the government's lies about aliens. Nevertheless, the billionaire and the future presidential candidate did not manage to make any sensations then.
On the Internet, you can find a noteworthy photo in which Hillary, walking with Lawrence, holds the book "Are We Alone?" American astrobiologist Paul Davis. Professor Davis, who works at the University of Arizona, openly declares that alien life forms exist and visit Earth, but the powers that be in every possible way hide these visits. Some of these conspirators, according to Davis, are religious elites (such as the Vatican), who do not want people to know about aliens and question the existence of God.
Finally, it is worth paying attention to John Podesta, Hillary Clinton's campaign chairman. In 1997-2001, he, while working as the chief of staff of Bill Clinton, made attempts to get to the secret Pentagon documents concerning UFOs and make them public. Unfortunately, he did not succeed. After leaving office, the Podesta made a loud statement urging the Pentagon, NASA and the White House to stop keeping the American people and the people of other countries in the dark.
Is Trump so bad for ufologists?
The opinions of ufologists as to whether Hillary's defeat really deprived them of the opportunity to learn the truth about aliens are divided. Some UFO researchers believe that this is so. Others believe that Clinton's populism would have gotten nowhere. Even if she really wanted to declassify secret materials about the aliens, she would hardly be able to do it, since the shadow government does not want this.
Steve Bassett, the leader of the American UFO organization Paradigm Research Group and lobbying for the declassification of information about UFOs, is optimistic about Donald Trump's victory. Bassett believes that the upcoming president, who takes office on January 20 next year, really wants to change the order of things in US domestic politics. Bassett plans to personally push for the country's new leader to lift the embargo on all information that military and government officials receive about the aliens. “This issue can only be solved politically, and for that we need a decent politician,” Bassett said.
