According to the Daily Express, citing a declassified CIA report, a UFO was discovered in 1993 over a Russian military base in Siberia. The soldiers brought down the object, and a violent explosion occurred that turned the bodies of 23 people to stone. However, the publication advises to be wary of such publications of American intelligence, as they may contain misinformation.
Declassified CIA documents contain a "shocking account" of how the Russian military met with UFOs in 1993, according to the Daily Express. Judging by this report, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, many files of Soviet intelligence fell into the hands of the Americans, and among them, allegedly, was this dossier of 250 pages, which included images and eyewitness accounts.
The report says that a low-flying saucer-shaped object was found over a military facility in Siberia. One of the soldiers launched a surface-to-air missile at him and shot down the object. From it emerged five small humanoids with large heads and large black eyes, which soon turned into a white glowing ball that hummed and whistled. The ball exploded and the 23 soldiers who were looking at it turned to stone. Only two people survived, who were in the shadows.
The remains of the petrified soldiers were taken to a secret research center in the Moscow region. According to the testimony of specialists, a source of energy, still unknown to earthlings, instantly changed the structure of soldiers' organisms, turning them at the molecular level into something similar to limestone.
At the same time, CIA representatives noted that if this is true information, then this is an extremely threatening fact. "Aliens possess such weapons and technologies that are beyond our understanding," the publication cites their commentary.
However, the Daily Express notes that the CIA report is a translation of an article from the Ukrainian newspaper Ternopil Vecherniy. And besides, "you need to be careful with online publications of the CIA, as it can be disinformation," experts warn.
