Residents of Honolulu (Hawaii) witnessed a UFO flight

On Friday evening, January 26, at about 18:20, glowing objects lit up the sky over Kevalo Bay and Ala Mahon Beach. Honolulu resident Peter Hollingvers said that a whole crowd of people gathered to watch the end of the world 45 degrees above the horizon.

One of the eyewitnesses of the UFO flight recorded a video. “It looked like a falling meteorite, but it appeared and disappeared,” an eyewitness told KHON2 TV.

The National Weather Service said there was nothing unusual on their radars, and the FAA did not report anything either. American troops conducted missile tests that day, but they began later - at 19:20.

“It really was an unidentified flying object,” said University of Hawaii professor astronomer Gareth Wynn-Williams. "We were never able to identify him." However, Williams is confident that this phenomenon can be explained and aliens have nothing to do with it. “Most likely, this is an airplane inversion trail,” he said after watching the video.

The professor noted that the aircraft inversion trails are caused by high-flying airliners that use hydrogen fuel. One of the by-products of fuel exhaust is water. "The air is cold, so the water condenses very quickly and turns into small frozen droplets, which then fall under the hot air from the aircraft engine and evaporate again," he explained.

Williams doubts that little green men are behind the UFOs. “Some people think differently from scientists, and like to look for the most bizarre explanations for even the simplest weather phenomena. These people want to believe that aliens are the cause, which, in my opinion, is very unlikely."

This is not the first time a UFO has visited Hawaii, according to published reports. In December 2004, local residents filmed an unexplained streak of light moving from southwest to northeast. There was no official explanation for the UFO.
