A few days ago, everyone following the Yellowstone seismographs noticed the strange readings of the Lake, Yellowstone Park, WY (LKWY) sensor for March 3-4, which began to record an unexplained seismic signal, a signal most likely of artificial origin.

On March 5, the end of the light stopped, but on March 8, the same sensor produced the same picture again:

So the sensor oddities continue and require an explanation.

Since the artificiality of the signal is obvious, everyone agrees on its artificial origin and the first, the simplest of the assumptions that arise, speaks of the work of some drilling equipment in this area. For example, geologists are drilling new wells and installing additional sensors. However, on this score, disputes immediately arose, since no one knows what kind of drilling equipment we are talking about.

Well drilling itself in the world is carried out in hundreds of methods, usually named after the region where it was first applied (Baku method, Pennsylvania method, etc.). The technology for drilling and crimping wells is also universally different, especially since oil is pumped from one well, water from another, and the third is generally used for installing equipment or geological exploration. And the number of drilling rigs and other equipment goes off scale, so no one can say what is working there in the caldera and what the seismic signal should be for this or that drilling rig.

Nevertheless, with the appearance of new amazing seismograms, there is something to be said about the observed microseismic cycle in addition to the known facts. So, now we know for sure that the cycle suddenly appears once every 60 minutes and lasts about 6 minutes, after which it dies down just as abruptly.

If we go back to the seismogram from March 3, we can trace the beginning of the cycle, located between 21:15 and 22:15 UTC:

As you can see from the seismogram, the oscillations gradually increase within 6 minutes, reach a certain stable level, after which a similar cycle of oscillations occurs approximately every 60 minutes during the day.

The idea of an increase in oscillations was expressed, however, according to the general opinion, one (two, if we count the red) cycles was not enough for conclusions and the phenomenon of an increase in oscillations could be attributed to an artifact. At the same time, now, looking at the seismogram around 02.00 UTC, we see that there is definitely a buildup, this is not an artifact!

Moreover, if you look closely at the other 6-minute bursts of activity, you might think that the oscillation is actually not uniform, but increasing each time, but with an almost microscopic and poorly recognized micro-interval. This is best seen on the isthisthingon.org service, where each burst of activity on a seismogram resembles not a rectangle, but a diamond. As if someone is shaking these vibrations!

And although drilling additional wells seems to be the simplest and most logical explanation, with such a new seismogram, it must be rejected and something new should be proposed. But what is it then? Broken sensor? Artifact?

Failure will also have to be rejected - for the same reason as drilling. No drilling of anything has such a strange technological cycle as 60 minutes + 6 minutes. Likewise, a sensor failure cannot be recorded cyclically. It’s as if the clock broke so that 60 minutes ran correctly, then 6 minutes began to rush - and so on throughout the day.

The LKWY seismograph is installed in the area of the lake, so it can also be assumed that the sensor registers the vibration of the water. But why does the water vibrate so much? Does a motor boat cross the lake once an hour? But a motor boat for a seismograph is not enough, either an aircraft carrier or a flock of frolicking plesiosaurs such as the Nessie monster is needed.

As far as we know, aircraft carriers do not sail on the lakes and there are no Cthulhu in the caldera area. Moreover: other sensors near the lake do not register anything of the kind. That is, there are no shock waves on the lake.

The only logical explanation for what is happening is the work of some equipment. But what kind of equipment?

Over the past 10-15 years, on TV, on the Internet, in newspapers, more and more often certain people tell something about some kind of secret super-weapon based on new physical principles, capable of sinking continents under water overnight:

Among the possible variants of such military devices, the term "tectonic weapon" often appears, the devices of which no one knows, since none of the persons who can talk about this in public have never seen such devices in their eyes, and those who have seen them never tell the public anything. will not.

Nevertheless, physics and geology in universities were taught by many and without going into details, one can assume how tectonic (or similar weapons) work. To implement this idea, two principles can be used: strong shock waves and microseismic events.

Everyone knows and has heard about shock waves. They are created when a kiloton, megaton, or much more powerful warhead explodes in a tectonic fault, capable of provoking the movement of tectonic plates. However, microseismic is more promising in this regard.

According to geological theories, certain chaotic vibrations of one force or another are constantly present in the earth's crust, however, if a constant seismic wave of low strength begins to generate in one place or another, if electromagnetic energy is pumped there, these wave microseismic events can make it start to resonate others, much more powerful seismic waves.

Ultimately, without any thermonuclear explosions in the right place and at the right time, a huge earthquake is obtained.

"Chemistry and Life" No. 11, 2005:

In 1976-1978, IPE employees made an unexpected discovery: it turned out that the starts of a pulsed MHD generator affect the seismic regime of the Garm test site (Northern Pamir): the activity of earthquakes sharply increases 3-4 days after the pulses.

After 10 years, this result was confirmed by experiments in the Bishkek region (Northern Tien Shan). In both cases, the total energy of all earthquakes exceeded the energy of the MHD generator by 5-6 orders of magnitude. Consequently, powerful electrical impulses lead to the release of additional seismic energy already accumulated by the geological environment. The radius of "annealing" of tectonic stresses increases nonlinearly with increasing power of the MHD generator and reaches 500 km, the effective impact on the seismic regime is manifested at depths of up to 5 km.

The trigger mechanism has not yet been studied. It is possible that superweak electric currents with a force of a fraction of a μA, which arise from the pulse, reach the earthquake source and reduce the viscosity of the fluids. Deep rocks slip and initiate the release of seismic energy. In accordance with the ideas of nonequilibrium physics, the “photograph of the earth's interior” is accompanied by negligible fluctuations in the source parameters, and they determine the seismic event that will occur.

The fact that such attitudes are not at all a theory is written not only in popular science journals, but also in the more popular press. We read the newspaper "Komsomolskaya Pravda":

The installation was called tricky - a pulsed magnetohydrodynamic generator, in abbreviated form - an MHD generator. It was developed in the 1970s - 1980s by scientists from the institutes of the USSR Academy of Sciences under the leadership of Academician Yevgeny Velikhov, together with specialists from the military-industrial complex. The generator was installed on the machine, moved to any point and, in the right place, generated electrical energy in a pulsed mode.

The current was fed into the earth's crust and changed its state. As a result, a very curious fact was established: during the tests, the number of strong earthquakes near the generator decreased, and the number of weak ones increased. This happened because the pulses of the MHD generator were a kind of "trigger", leading to the emergence of a large number of weak, harmless seismic shocks, - explained the scientist. - There are still no analogues of this car in the world. Its manufacturing technology is Russian know-how. When the Americans were doing a similar project, they could not repeat it.

Thus, from the above passage, we see that such installations were and are, that the Americans tried to repeat something there and that such a machine can not only increase, but also reduce the strength of earthquakes.

Comparing the scanty reports on experiments with MHD generators with seismograms from the caldera, we can assume that on March 3-4, and then on March 8, a device of this type was operating there. Seimographers give out a “drum roll” for a month, magma creeps out, caldera personnel are in a panic and drag everything that is there to stop the process. We have no other explanation for such strange seismograms.

It is difficult for us to say what the MHD generator (or its analogue) does in the area of Lake Yellowstone Park. Perhaps, as we noted above, the Americans decided to damp the rebellious caldera somewhat, because after the appearance of strange seismograms on March 3-4, the swarm in the caldera subsided significantly.

On the other hand, perhaps the United States simply decided to test some new secret equipment, deciding to exercise in the caldera, closer to magma, with its necessary electromagnetic characteristics.

Without seeing the caldera with our own eyes, it is difficult for us to tell what is happening there. Nevertheless, we are following the development of events.
