Here is the story of a captain of the Russian Army who observed a UFO in Posyet (Far East) on September 14, 1991.
A group of three officers decided to relax "in nature" on the day off. They were not fishermen or hunters, therefore, says Captain A. V., they took a decent-sized duck from the military shop and made a fire not far from the military unit. It was about 2 pm local time, when, having built a spit, the officers hung the duck over the fire and drank a little with another (cold) snack.
As soon as they did this, a UFO appeared in the western part of the sky. The object released two beams that fell to the ground … However, there is a lot of such evidence, and it makes no sense to dwell on the details. Let us mention that the event, according to the officers, lasted at least ten minutes, after which the "saucer" flew away, as if it had disappeared into thin air.
Strange in this observation was something else: turning to the fire, they found a ready-made duck above it, the meat of which had time to cool down completely, a completely burnt out fire and forgotten vodka. And the clock showed - 17.10!
This case of a shift in time could be explained by the fact that people were taken to the "plate" and then returned to their place. None of the officers remembered this. However, they did not undergo regressive hypnosis, because they did not consider it necessary to turn to ufologists or even more so to doctors and, of course, psychiatrists. And there are no ufologists nearby. The incident was told personally to one of the authors.
Often, people who have come into contact with UFOs found several missing hours of life (in the case of the Hills, this is exactly two hours, and in Posiet - more than three!). Maybe Russian officers could respond today and voluntarily agree to a similar hypnotic study to find out if they were abducted and forcibly subjected to a medical examination for UFOs?
Well, the third case, which also became almost a classic. Moreover, according to the nature of the occupations of his "heroes", he is very suitable for our present time.
On November 26, 1979, early in the morning, two Frenchmen - Jean-Pierre Prévost and Solomon N'Dai (both 25 years old) - reported to the Cergy-Pontoise gendarmerie about the strange disappearance of their young friend Frank Fontaine (18 years old). According to the young people, over Frank's old Ford they saw a silvery cloud and colored balls flashing in it, like tennis balls. A cloud enveloped the cab and the hood of the car, and nothing could be seen through it. Friends saw how a cloud suddenly gathered in a light pipe, and the pipe went into the sky … Fontaine was not behind the wheel of the car. Running up to the car, the guys saw only that the ignition was on, the headlights were on, and the gear lever was in third gear. Although the Ford engine was not working! "Our friend has been kidnapped!" - declared Prevost and N'Dai.

The gendarmerie has taken drastic measures … to bring friends to justice for misleading the authorities! The car, as material evidence of the illegal trade in jeans, which all three friends were really engaged in (the trunk of the "Ford" was filled with packages with goods), was towed to the disposal of the gendarme department. And the prosecutor’s office took over the “business” of friends.
While the trial is on, a third participant in the events suddenly appeared - Frank Fontaine, the protagonist of the ufological incident. He appeared exactly one week later, on December 3, in the same place from which he disappeared. At the same time, Fontaine had absolutely no idea that a whole week had passed (with real traces of time passed on his face: he was covered with weekly stubble), and not having found the car in the place where he was supposed to stand, he decided that intruders had stolen his treasure.
Frankly speaking, Fontaine appeared at the right time: just before the court, which accused all three of malicious disrespect for the authorities. But at the trial, the circumstances began to be determined, proving that there was no "misleading", but there was an interplanetary contact between the "contactee" and the "cosmites". The French aerospace tracking service got involved.
In detail, the story happened like this. Frank Fontaine was driving a car, which he managed to start with great difficulty, and two friends were loading jeans into the trunk so that the three of them could go to sell them to the neighboring town of Gisor. It was then, occupied only by the car, Fontaine noticed in the sky a stripe falling to the ground, like a trail from a jet liner. Drawing the attention of his friends to the celestial object, Frank immediately went to see what it was, because he thought that a plane was falling. Friends did not give a damn about it, they went to the warehouse for another batch of goods.
Well, then there was this. Frank saw that funny colored balls appeared above the hood of his car, which floated in the air and bounced funny. Instead of laughing and rejoicing with them, the guy suddenly fell into a strange sleepiness … and fell asleep completely, having managed to notice that the engine, which had been started with such difficulty without a starter, stalled.
He woke up many times, but woke up in an unfamiliar room, where the same "tennis" balls were flying, which were not averse to talking to the young Frenchman. “I woke up in the laboratory,” Frank said. “It was a room with white walls, like a classroom. There were a lot of cars there. I cannot say what they were for. Glowing dials were everywhere. I was lying…"
According to Frank, there were some kind of glowing, moving balls about the size of an orange in the room. He got the impression that, if not the balls themselves, then someone was talking to him through them. “I woke up and they started talking to me. They are very smart, very wise people. Do you know why they do not come into contact with earthlings? They are afraid that their knowledge and science will be used for bad purposes. After a while, Frank woke up in the same place where he disappeared so mysteriously. “I thought I fell asleep for half an hour,” he admitted.
Of course, Frank could not remember what happened to him besides this, but he said that he did not feel anything bad or painful. But the voice of the balls was mechanical, and the speech was slow.
Fontaine also offered the researchers the latest information for 1979. The balls turned out to be inhabitants of another world, who devoted themselves only to science. Earthly science seemed to them primitive, and people - subjects who in no case should be engaged in science, because they use its achievements not for good, but for harm. Why, earthlings are also prone to the destruction of everything and everyone. The balls regularly visit our planet, but they do not feel delight from humanity, and if they communicate with someone, then only with guys like Franck Fontaine: "real, without a mask" …
Fontaine was absolutely convinced of another circumstance: that the balls had erased from his memory most of what they had spoken to the Earthling. A rare case for someone whose memory it concerns! As a rule, people do not even suspect that someone has interfered with their consciousness.
Almost as always in such cases, the commission did not find any “earthly” explanation for the incident, and the “cosmic” explanation, within the limits accessible to the layman, allegedly did not interest her. Most likely, at a certain stage, all information, except for that which has already leaked into all newspapers in France, was classified, and we have the opportunity to tell the reader only what only ordinary ufologists who are not privy to state secrets know, and ordinary people whose source of information - press.
A peculiar response - the letter came to the editorial office of Sovetskaya Rossiya, which told about the incident with Fontaine, from E. S. Popkova, who lives in Leningrad:
