Even more extraordinary is the thought of a possible meeting with a creature inside an unidentified flying object, in other words, with an enlonaut. And yet, back in 1947 and 1948, from the reports of pilots who survived a UFO encounter in the air, it was clear that either the UFOs are controlled automatically, or there is someone inside.
Subsequent years have confirmed that these "someone" is the same objective reality as their ships. For thirty years, starting in 1947, the number of landings recorded in various parts of the world has exceeded one and a half thousand. And in almost all countries, hundreds of people of different professions and different cultural levels saw UFO pilots or passengers and gave their descriptions, the accuracy of which in the vast majority of cases is difficult to judge due to the short duration and unexpectedness of what they saw.
But there is also a sufficient number of encounters between earthlings and "strangers", in which the duration of the observation made at close range (from several tens of meters to direct contact) allows us to take eyewitness reports as a basis. (Note, "take as a basis", and not just "believe", since a person believes only in himself.) It is impossible to create one portrait-robot of aliens because of the large number of different, according to the descriptions of witnesses, categories of creatures. But perhaps the most important conclusion is that in 96% of cases, signs were noted that allow them to be called humanoids. There have been several attempts to classify "strangers", but the best work to date in identifying enlonauts in different groups depending on external data is, undoubtedly, the work of Jadere Pereira. This study was published in all major ufological publications abroad. Let's consider only statistics.
Of the 333 cases proposed for study, 103 were struck off the list by Pereira due to insufficient data, controversial sources or personal doubts. (Are personal doubts a good helper in statistical data processing?) One way or another, but 230 cases remained, on the basis of which the work was done.
Based on the presence or absence of certain characteristics (spacesuit, height, skin color, hair, features in the structure of the body, shape of the face and head, etc.), Jadere Pereira divides enlonauts into 12 types, each of which has several options … The approximate height is indicated in 197 cases: 123 cases - from 70 cm to 1 m 60 cm. 43 cases - from 1 m 65 cm to 1 m 85 cm. 27 cases - from 2 to 3 meters. Lilliputians (15 cm) and giants (4-5 meters) were noted. In 67 cases, a spacesuit is mentioned. As for the green color of the skin, then this can be a very original solution to the question of "daily bread". V. A. Yulak recognizes in principle such a possibility (article "Are there green people" in the journal "Chemistry and Life", 1974, 7): the skin is green because, like plants, it contains chlorophyll and allows its owner not to depend on external sources of organic food. But then the question is posed as follows: will their own photosynthesis provide food for such people? The answer, according to the author's calculations, is negative, since the photosynthetic productivity of a person will be only 2.4 grams of sugar per hour, or 28.8 grams per day (12 hours). There are 112 calories of energy in 30 grams of sugar. The author proves, fortunately, it is not difficult that 112 calories are not enough, since a person's daily need lies between two thousand and four thousand calories. This applies to earthly man. There are slanting eyes of the Asian type. In seven cases, only one eye was noted in the middle of the forehead. The mouth is mentioned in all observations, but the lips are often subtle. The attitude of the enlonauts towards eyewitnesses is regarded by Pereira as "friendly" or "observant." Most often they run away when spotted by an observer, but sometimes there are signs of hostility.
In 13 cases, eyewitnesses stated paranormal phenomena: telepathy, the imposition of someone else's will. In 24 cases, the conversation of "strangers" with each other is mentioned ("strange language", "unintelligible sounds", "guttural sounds"). 40 times they turned to eyewitnesses: 20 times in an unknown language, 8 in Spanish, 7 in English, 3 in Portuguese, 2 in French. 20 eyewitnesses talk about "weapons". Usually these are tubes or luminous balls that release a beam that causes instant paralysis (14 cases), loss of consciousness (3 cases), loss of strength (1 case), further weight loss (2 cases), skin burns (2 cases).

Of the 230 cases considered, 57 observations describe material traces left by unidentified flying objects; Burnt or crushed grass and plants, depressions in the soil, traces in the shape of a triangle, pits were noted 27 times.
Oily stains were found four times. In three cases, increased radioactivity was noted. Traces of steps were found 10 times. Most of the selected cases fall on the following years: 1954 - 53 observations, 1957 - 14, 1965 - 26, 1967 - 25, 1968 - 27. In 141 cases, the time of observation is indicated. It happened 98 times at night, most often in summer and autumn. Could this be due to the longer stay of people outside the home during the warmer seasons? In 30 cases, the duration of observations exceeded ten minutes, in the rest - no more than five minutes. 230 cases occurred in 30 countries. The largest number (46) fell on Brazil, followed by: USA - 38, France - 31, Argentina - 29, Venezuela - II, Italy - II. There are results of a statistical study conducted by A. Gamar based on 559 observations of humanoids in all parts of the world.
