“We tried to combine the principles formulated by Einstein with modern postulates existing within the framework of quantum mechanics. In general, the universe, we believe, is expanding simply because it can. That is, it's all about vibrations that are always present in the space-time fabric of the Universe. The fluctuations almost balance each other, but there is some uncompensated moment that leads to expansion,”says the study's lead author at the University of British Columbia, Windy Wang.
Wang believes that space-time is a dynamic environment that constantly fluctuates, however, due to some physical features, we see only expansion.
The theory, created by physicists led by Wang, explains the origin of hypothetical dark matter, which many scientists believe fills much of the universe. In general, Wang's theory looks quite plausible - say respected physicists.
