In Italy, thermal surveillance cameras recorded an unidentified flying object hiding in the mouth of Mount Etna.
The video appeared on one of the ufological YouTube channels. It is reported that it was filmed on October 30 on the east coast of Sicily between the cities of Catania and Messina. The UFO was captured by a thermal video camera installed near Mount Etna by employees of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology.
A mysterious cone-shaped object was captured in the frame. For about fifteen minutes he hovered over the volcano, and then flew into its mouth and disappeared from view. The camera did not record the object anymore.
According to ufologist Scott Waring, editor-in-chief of Ufo Sightings Daily, such phenomena are no longer rare. In particular, in recent months, several UFO videos have appeared on the Web, filmed by eyewitnesses near the Mexican volcanoes Colima and Popocatepetl.
Note that Etna is the highest active volcano in Europe. Its height is 3329 meters above sea level. In terms of area, Etna surpasses Vesuvius by more than 2.5 times. According to various sources, the volcano has from 200 to 400 side craters. Lava eruptions from them are recorded on average once every three months.
