The National UFO Center (NUFORC) received a message from a resident of the city of Battle Creek, which is located in the southern US state of Michigan, about a bright red object that appeared in the sky in the early morning of March 10, 2017. The red ball moved from east to west in a zigzag path.
The exact same red object was observed by the residents of Rhode Island. At about 5:30 am on August 16, 2016, while walking with their dog, the couple from Providence saw a very bright red ball in the sky surrounded by a light red haze.
The red object, which the husband called a spherical UFO, first hung motionless, and then began to move in zigzags to the right and stopped again.
“I couldn't believe how he could move so quickly and then suddenly stop. It did not gradually slow down its speed, but as if it was hitting some kind of barrier, a Providence resident wrote in her report.
The object continued to move to the right with zigzags and stops, gradually gaining height, until it disappeared behind the rooftops. According to eyewitnesses, he moved very quickly and completely silently. There were no propellers or outboard motors visible on it, and it left no trace of it.
The woman in her report to NUFORC stressed that she is a well-educated professional, but she has never seen anything like it.
“This ship, with its instant stops, challenged all physics. It was scary and intriguing at the same time. I have no doubt that he is not from here,”added a witness to the unusual phenomenon.
