However, it was they who caused the death of 38 people, which, according to the researchers, indicates the unfriendliness of the aliens. Having flown over Ontake, the ships did not return to the base, but disappeared into the clouds without trying to stop the eruption or somehow help the earthlings.
Recall that the eruption of Ontake volcano began on September 27. On its slope, which is a popular resort, at that moment there were 200 people, including children. During the eruption, a column of ash several kilometers high rose above the volcano.
