Astronaut Scott Kelly, aboard the International Space Station, shared the photo on a social network. It immediately attracted the attention of users who saw a strange UFO-like object in the corner of the photo.
Astronauts often share photos taken on the ISS. Kelly shared a photo on the 233rd day on the ISS. The photo shows southern India and the outer space above it.
"In the upper right corner of the photo, a large object with lights on both ends is clearly visible," wrote YouTube user Sonofmabarker. "It's artificial, very large."
"There is a long white UFO in there," added another user, "it looks like it has lights on both sides."
Famous ufologist Scott Waring went further. Astronaut Kelly knows there is a UFO in the photo, he said, so he deliberately shared the photo.
“If an astronaut posts a UFO photo, everyone will notice. Scott Kelly loves to share photos taken from the ISS window, they look spectacular, he wrote, but this photo shows a luminous cigar-shaped UFO. The UFO is approximately 25 meters long and is located 150-200 meters from the filming location. Looks like Scott wanted to hint at the existence of aliens. We got a message, Scott, thanks."
Kelly himself and NASA did not comment on the photo. Not all Internet users see UFOs in the photo and believe that the excitement is caused by the imagination of people.
Promotional video:
“Everyone says there is a UFO in this photo - a small bright detail in the upper right corner, a cigar-shaped object. To deal with this, place the photo in Photoshop, turn up the brightness, and you will see that it is part of a space station, wrote one user on Facebook.
Perhaps this is just a glare, says theoretical physicist Michio Kaku told CBS.
“The testimony of eyewitnesses and even photography is not enough. The object in the photo can just be someone's reflection on glass or a stain, he says, we need material evidence - an alien chip, alien DNA. Then all disputes will stop."
