Ufologists are special scientists who go further in their convictions than the Christian inquisitors of the Middle Ages. The theory "aliens are to blame for everything" is eternal, almost everything is substituted for it, and on the objects closest to Earth, as experts from this science are sure, aliens live quite happily, withstanding even Venus with its hellish conditions caused by proximity to the Sun. Naturally, a certain civilization, in their opinion, is also present on Mars. Why, in this case, it is not recorded in full by the devices exploring the Red Planet? The answer is that the aliens live under the local land.
This is exactly what the ufologists came to when they saw on the next photograph of the planet's surface what seemed to them a dome. A huge number of images of Mars, more and more new, are often provided by NASA and Google Mars, and for several days they have become a reason to look for something on them. They found crabs there, then nails, then an old store mass, a beer bottle and even a whole arsenal of weapons from the Second World War. Aliens were also "seen" there, supposedly opening some kind of hatch. So this time, there was an opportunity to find someone thanks to a strange hill in the form of a dome. She has even been given a name - in honor of the one who and "discovered" this - William Benton. Earlier, 19 years ago, some Efrain Palermo and Len Flemming discovered this on the Mars satellite Phobos, also consideringthat this is clear evidence of entry into an underground alien settlement.
If we omit the general strangeness of the statements of ufologists, then can someone exist on the Red Planet? In the very distant past, millions of years ago, there really was a certain life on Mars. In general, it gradually emerged on all three celestial bodies, starting with Venus, as our solar system developed. The second planet from the star earlier acquired all the necessary conditions, but it lost all this before everyone else. The sun warmed up so that it actually burned up all Venusian life (or it managed to fly away), and the water evaporated. The Earth turned out to be in a more advantageous position, although the star reached later, respectively, to Mars.
Local life forms may not have evolved to intelligent, since there was the least time for this on the Red Planet. Since later, as a result of a collision with an unknown celestial body, a piece fell off the planet, which, being metallic, deprived it of its magnetic field, and also reduced it to such an extent that Mars lost the ability to keep water in a liquid state on the surface. Accordingly, if there was a civilization on Mars, which is very unlikely, it disappeared a long time ago.

However, everything depends on what, in fact, this substance is combined with. Variations are quite poisonous, especially in high concentration.
It is in this ratio that they are present in the Martian soil. Scientists conducted experiments on the bacterium Bacillus subtilis: it turned out that in combination with ultraviolet radiation, this organism dies in less than five minutes. What then can we say about more advanced beings? In addition, there are many iron oxides and hydrogen peroxides on Mars, which fuel perchlorates, making them even more deadly in some cases. In fact, there are not so many of them in the ground, less than one percent, however, due to ultraviolet radiation, the threat is increasing, and currently on the Red Planet hardly anyone can live even underground, unless, of course, they constantly move around in a spacesuit … Accordingly, the calculations of the above-mentioned ufologists are completely refuted. What can be an underground city in the current conditions? Another optical illusionimplicated in the theory "aliens are to blame for everything."
Will humans ever populate Mars? Full-fledged colonization, according to some scholars, will take place, almost in the next millennium, not earlier. It was then, according to some experts, that our technologies will develop enough to be able to remake the Red Planet so that it is as close as possible to ours. The process of terraforming will make it possible to make a second Earth out of Mars, if not with ideal conditions, then, most likely, without poisonous perchlorates and with some kind of atmosphere. In the calculations of scientists, there is an opinion about a possible artificial increase in the distant future of the mass of the Red Planet due to the very careful installation of asteroids containing metals flying by it. That is, for Mars to at least return to the state it was millions of years ago, before the above mentioned catastrophe. How realistic all this is, even in such far-reaching prospects, no one has yet undertaken to assess.
As for the rest, while the expedition to Mars is being prepared, which will be a "one-way ticket". Now scientists are developing how to protect a person from local radiation. In particular, Australian scientists have created a set of special nanoparticles, from which it is theoretically possible to create something that will serve as a kind of shield from harmful radiation. So far, this is all at the stage of experiments and verification.
