Scientists at Yale University believe that aliens literally live under our feet. Researchers are confident that the aliens live 19 kilometers underground in extreme temperatures and high pressures, reports Business Insider.
Recently, scientists have been looking for extraterrestrial life not only in space, but also in the bowels of our planet. The fact that alien organisms can exist deep underground, the researchers seriously thought after they discovered special isotopes of carbon in ancient rocks of aragonite on the coast of the American island of Lopez (Washington state). There is a version that the minerals were formed under the influence of a liquid rich in organic methane.

According to researchers, the underground environment is quite favorable for the existence of extraterrestrial life, since it protects organisms from destructive cosmic radiation and high temperatures on the surface.
Earlier, American scientists from the University of Berkeley announced plans to search for extraterrestrial civilizations at a distance of up to twenty light years from Earth (which is about 190 trillion kilometers).
A special e-mail will be sent to those space objects where, presumably, intelligent life can live. So far, however, it has not yet been drawn up. It is assumed that mankind will learn more about the possible existence of "underground aliens" in the very near future.
