A strange creature similar to a plesiosaur was chasing a school of fish in Devonshire (Great Britain), just 20 meters from the seashore
Experts are racking their brains, figuring out what kind of creation it was. The photographs were taken on July 27 by a woman named Jill Pierce. She thought she was filming a turtle in the water. But after looking at the photographs and realizing that the creature did not look like a turtle, that it had a too long neck, she turned to the local Marine Conservation Society (MCS).
Members of the community report that Jill observed the creation 20 meters offshore at Saltern Cove, near Goodrington. The creature remained in the sea, and then went towards the shallow water.
Now members of the society are looking for other eyewitnesses of the strange creature in order to clarify this mystery.
Some think it may have been a sperm whale. But sperm whales don't come that close to the shore. Many theories have been voiced on the community site. From crocodile to sea serpent.
Submit MCS says that everything points to the turtle, that the creature has the same flippers and body, but the head and neck of the creature is like a plesiosaur and adds that the examination did not reveal any traces of forgery in the photo. Besides, turtles don't chase fish …

The organization notifies people to watch the place to see if the creature will appear again.
“It's possible this creature could become a local Nessie,” her spokeswoman said.
Plesiosaurs belong to the class of marine reptiles and became officially extinct 65 million years ago.
The plesiosaur had a long neck, four large flippers, and a tail. The length ranged from 2 meters to 20 meters. Perhaps they drove the fish with their long necks, as the eyewitness observed.
