A Los Angeles resident, picking up her son from school on October 17, 2016 at around 2 pm, drew attention to the beautiful shade of the sky and immediately saw a bright UFO moving in a southeast direction.
The object gleamed gold or the color of brushed copper, she said. She immediately rushed to the car for the camera, tried again to find the UFO in the sky, but he had already disappeared.
“I looked at my watch, it was 2:07 pm,” the woman said in a statement to the World UFO Network (MUFON) the next day. “I looked up at the sky again and noticed a red-orange light on the clouds, but this time I focused and photographed it.”
“It hung in the sky for another 30 seconds, and I immediately took three more pictures before it disappeared,” added the keen observer.
At home, the woman carefully examined her photographs, since this is not the first time she has encountered a UFO.
“Over the years, many UFOs have been observed over Los Angeles that could change their shape,” commented famous ufologist Scott K. Waring. - One of such events was the famous "Battle of Los Angeles" in February 1942, when several huge oval UFOs slowly flew over the city. Artillery guns fired thousands of shells at them, but the UFOs remained unharmed, continued to move on their course, and some of them changed their shape. Then they came from the side of the ocean and, before disappearing, moved towards the states of Arizona and Nevada."
“It could be the same UFO, but only smaller,” added Scott.
