How the Evpatoria Space Communications Center works.

Scientists are not going to give up the idea of finding life outside our planet. On the contrary, they undertake various methods of detecting representatives of other civilizations in the Universe. To search for aliens, a giant satellite dish was even used, the work of which can be learned from an excursion held in honor of the 60th anniversary of the launch of the first artificial Earth satellite.

The flight of this legendary satellite was controlled from here in October 1957. But the main attraction of the Space Communications Center in Yevpatoria is the P-2500 radio telescope, which performs various functions, including attempting to communicate with representatives of other worlds. The radio telescope is equipped with a truly gigantic antenna: its size is about the size of a football field - 2500 square meters, the diameter of the mirror is 70 meters. One should not think that the device is clumsy due to its enormous size, on the contrary - it is extremely mobile and can take any position to view any part of outer space. Thus, there are simply no unattainable objects for this telescope.

It is noteworthy that the antenna was assembled from various parts of military equipment, so the design of the device is rather unusual. For example, the lower part is a swivel tower from a military battleship, the middle is, in general, a whole span of a railway bridge, and the whole structure is crowned with an almost integral hull from a submarine. In addition, the antenna has been working properly all these years and does not give any failures.

Usually, a satellite dish was used to collect information from interplanetary stations, but scientists could not miss this chance and not use the equipment to try to establish contact with extraterrestrial civilizations. The signal was sent to the region of Cassiopeia Alpha, where, according to scientists, an unknown civilization could exist. The answer, however, was not received, but the fact of the attempt took place. Although scientists continue to undertake them periodically.

The huge antenna bowl is located on a platform carved into the rock, it is fixed with the help of special technologies, so the structure is extremely stable and even withstands hurricane winds calmly.

The entire sky, including its secluded corners, is under the control of space communications specialists. Antennas can scan and transmit information about objects thousands of light years away. Data on the health, speed and flight paths of all man-made objects created by man flock here. Scientists learn about the slightest deviation of artificial satellites from the route, receive information from the ISS and weather stations, as well as information about orbital debris. Now the Crimean Space Communication Center controls two hundred space objects at once.

Recall that shocking information received by an American journalist recently became known, according to which an operation was developed and carried out in the last century, during which 12 earthlings went to the mysterious planet Serpo, located at a distance of 39 light years from Earth and inhabited by intelligent humanoids.

It all started with the UFO disaster in Roswell in 1957, which even schoolchildren know about. According to ufologists, at that moment two "flying saucers" collided, as a result all the crew members died, only one alien survived, who, using the equipment that survived in one of the "saucers", contacted his own. Further versions differ: one by one with Serpo they sent a ship for their fellow tribesman and, as gratitude, invited a group of earthlings to visit their planet, according to the other, one of the crashed alien aircraft was repaired by the earthlings themselves and went as an escort of the humanoid with him. Presumably, the expedition was supposed to take 10 Earth years.

There were two women from the group that went to Serpo. During the mission, two people died (one of them died in flight, not reaching an unknown planet). Several more of the group decided not to return to Earth when the mission was already over.

Time on Serpo flows in a different way, so when the earth's clock stopped working for the members of the expedition, they tried to keep track of the time using local instruments, but, in the end, they stayed on the mysterious planet not for 10, but for 13 years. Nevertheless, the earthlings who returned home did not live long - they died literally in the coming months from radiation sickness. Everything is explained quite simply - the strongest radiation on Serpo.

Of course, the information about this expedition was classified as "top secret" and was carefully hidden from the public, the documents in which all information about the mission was recorded were later deleted. An alternative to them was the reports of the expedition participants, which, although they are kept in the strictest confidence, but even if they are declassified, there are few people who are ready to believe what is written there - everything looks very much like a fantasy novel. The members of the expedition told everything they saw about Serpo: there are hundreds of settlements on the planet, and there is only one big city, in which activities like our industry are concentrated. There is no money at all, and everything that the inhabitants of the planet may need for life, they receive in distribution centers.

So far, few believe in the reality of this story, but given the secrecy of the project, this is not surprising.
