During the Second World War, the natives of the Pacific Islands witnessed a great miracle that changed their familiar world. From the side of the sea, strange white men arrived in huge iron boats. Over the years of prayers and rituals, they decided that the Cargo would fly to them, and not to the Gods. On several islands, it came to clashes with local residents because they were 100% sure that the cargo flew to them. The war ended, and the bases again became empty, but the faith of the islanders only grew stronger and again began to continue their religion.
The Cargo Cult exists to this day, despite the fact that crowds of tourists come to the aborigines.
Tourists want to see all this splendor of dummies and airfields, but only the aborigines can no longer be convinced. Legends about Cargo were passed from father to son, and similar cults arose on different islands not connected in any way with each other. Such cults include Tarot and Tuka.
