Virtual paranormal researchers have focused their attention on a video recently posted on the Internet by a user in the United States. According to the author of the publication, a surveillance camera installed in the backyard of his house recorded a strange white silhouette at night, flying quickly in front of her lens. The American assumes that the object flashed by is a real ghost.
The recording was made on the twenty-sixth of February this year. A resident of the city of Longmont in Colorado sent the resulting video to the owners of the famous site "MUFON", which collects and analyzes materials related to everything supernatural and unknown to official science. Experts carefully studied the video and came to the conclusion that the white mass of energy captured by the camera could indeed be a phantom.
The author of the video wrote to the resource staff: “Quite by accident I saw this recording from a surveillance camera in my backyard. I have no idea what it is. Winter, no birds, insects and bats can be. My house faces north and south, this strange thing flew from west to east. It seems to me that this is a ghost. You can watch my video and draw any conclusions, what could it be?"
The footage below shows the fence, beyond which the night field extends. Suddenly, an unknown object of bright white color, similar to a stereotypical ghost from cartoons, is rapidly flying by right next to the camera, except perhaps without black eyes and mouth. Nevertheless, experts unanimously rule out a hoax, since one of us is unlikely to be able to dress in a white sheet and fly through the air at lightning speed.
The regulars of the World Wide Web, who do not believe in ghosts, put forward their versions of what happened. Some believe that this is ball lightning, others are convinced of the involvement of aliens. The theory of a wandering fire that got off the ground is also voiced. Skeptical users claim that this is either a play of light, or an ordinary plastic bag flying in the wind.
Some commentators report that they themselves have seen such flying white figures in their lives. For example, a YouTube user under the pseudonym miche oneill claims that several years ago she was walking with her husband on a summer night, and suddenly the same white ball of energy flew right past them, then disappeared among the trees in the park, making strange whistling sounds.
