Buying a house outside the city can be not only a joyful event, but also deliver a lot of unpleasant moments. It is one thing when a building is being built from scratch, and another thing when a house is purchased from the previous owners. Knowledgeable people advise in such cases to consecrate the home in order to get rid of the energy that remained from the previous owners. People who lived in this house for years experienced not only positive emotions: they quarreled, swore, and were sad. Sometimes it happens that the spirit of the former owner does not leave the place of its earthly habitation for a long time.
Marina was still a teenager when her parents bought a house in the village. Everything suited them - it was convenient to get there by car, and the railway station was nearby. The girl also really liked the place to stay. She gladly helped her parents to equip a new home and to put in order a personal plot. She was especially delighted with the old apple tree. Its spreading branches were covered with fragrant flowers in the spring, and the new owners of the house counted on a rich harvest in the fall.
The windows of the girl's room overlooked the courtyard. Every evening she admired the flowers and breathed in their wonderful scent. One night Marina woke up with a strange feeling, it seemed to her that someone was looking at her through the window. The girl went to the open window and saw a clear silhouette of an elderly woman under the apple tree. Marina thought that it was one of the neighbors who came to their site. But then she looked at her watch and realized that it was too late for visits: the clock showed half past four in the morning. In the dawn twilight, the girl saw an old woman who stood with her back against a tree and looked into the distance. Marina got scared and hurried to close the window.
The situation repeated itself the next night. The girl decided to tell about all her parents. But they only laughed at the teenager's fantasy. Marina decided not to give up. The next time she saw the silhouette of an old woman under the apple tree, she called her mother into her room. The woman looked out the window and froze: her daughter did not invent anything. She saw the old woman with her own eyes. The old woman stood for a few minutes and walked away. She went out through the gate, but it did not make a single sound, although the hinges usually creaked. Tatyana, the girl's mother, realized that her daughter's stories were true.
The next day, she called the clerk of the house and carefully asked if he knew anything about the old woman who had lived here before. The man hesitated. He said that his grandmother used to live in this house. He and his parents did not particularly like to come to her. As a result, the old woman died alone. The young man even complained to the new owners that since she died, his parents have not known rest. Grandma often comes to them in a dream and reproaches them for callousness.
Tatiana and Marina began to ask the neighbors what they know about the former owner of the house. Talkative peyzans said that grandmother Varvara had a rather stern disposition. She never wanted to move to the city, as her relatives did not persuade her. As a result, she died several years ago, never making peace with her loved ones. The house was very dear to her, and she did not want to change it to urban conditions. Her favorite place in the yard was that old apple tree.
This “neighborhood” of the new owners did not suit at all: although they respected the memory of the old woman, they did not want to see her ghost in their garden every time. Tatiana turned to the medium to give them advice on how to get rid of the spirit of the former owner. The specialist advised the new owners, first of all, to cut down the apple tree, and then to carry out the ritual of cleansing the home and ask the spirit to leave them alone. The head of the family heeded his wife's advice and cut down an old tree on the same day. On the advice of the medium, the apple tree had to be burned. The new owners sprinkled every corner of the house with holy water and surrounded every nook and cranny with a burning candle. They asked the old mistress not to be angry with them and her family, but to leave in peace to eternal rest.
Since then, the spirit of the former owner of the house has ceased to visit the new owners. The woman forgave her relatives as well, she not only left her old home, but also stopped coming to her loved ones in her sleep.
