On January 13, 2017, a boulder-shaped UFO hit the camera of one of the residents of the town of Rangiora, which is located in the countryside on the South Island of New Zealand.
A local resident photographed his dog in the backyard and had no idea that he was being watched.
“I was trying to get my dog to jump up in the air to get pictures when it jumped,” he said in a statement to the World UFO Network (MUFON). "I do this a lot and I get a lot of bad photos."
When the young man decided to remove the unsuccessful pictures from his camera, he noticed that in one photo, a UFO appeared in the sky above a neighbor's house, similar to a large gray stone with a blue glow around it.
“I am so sorry that I did not see it with my own eyes, then, perhaps, I would have increased its scale,” added an eyewitness.
An unusual UFO sight interested the famous ufologist Scott K. Waring, who saw a dark deep recess on the surface of a flying gray cobblestone.
“This UFO most likely spied on the backyards of private houses and was surprised when in one of their yards he noticed a man playing with his dog. Great shot,”Scott commented on the good shot.
