Exactly a year has passed since the Malaysian Boeing-777, flying on flight MH370 from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, disappeared. The search for the plane, in which there were 227 passengers and 12 crew members, so far have not led to anything …

Victim of a psychopath …

The huge steel bird disappeared without a trace. Even the space satellite could not find any trace. Of course, the versions of the mysterious incident have multiplied throughout this year, and now is the time to sum up some results. So what could have happened?

In the first place from the very beginning, the assumption was put forward that the liner was hijacked by the commander of the crew named Zahari Ahmad Shah. What for? He was allegedly very worried about the upcoming divorce from his wife and was extremely angry at the unfair sentence passed on to his relative, opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim, who was accused of sodomy and was imprisoned for five years.

As a result, the pilot had a mental breakdown, and he decided to ditch the plane along with all the passengers. The plane lost contact with air traffic controllers because the pilot turned off the transponder - the device that provides this communication.

This version was put forward by New Zealander Evan Wilson, a former pilot and founder of Kiwi Airlines. However, even though Wilson published an entire book devoted to his considerations, experts rejected them. The fact is that Wilson did not provide any convincing evidence. And in general, why did the suicide need to complicate the task so much?

Al-Qaeda girl

Another, similar version was put forward - the plane became the victim of not the first, but the second pilot, also a psychopath, who did not get along with the bride. Farik Abdul Hamid allegedly locked himself in the cockpit and there he did his dirty deed. But again there was a problem: in fact, he had no reason to take his own life, since the pilot, on the contrary, was going to get married and loved his job.

Perhaps Farik even loved life too much: every now and then he invited beautiful girls into the cabin. And it was he who was the last one to contact the dispatchers from this very cabin. What if the girl was there again? Given that the plane was heading to Beijing, it was suggested that this girl may have been a member of the Chinese branch of Al-Qaeda, and she played a sinister role …

Landing on the island

Experts are thinking about the terrorists. And here options are possible. The most curious one sounds like this: terrorists flew on board, seized the cockpit and, when approaching Beijing, were going to send the plane to some capital skyscraper, as it was in New York.

On the other hand, it is known that the plane made a U-turn and flew back to Kuala Lumpur - that is, the terrorists planned to crash, for example, into the twin towers of the Malaysian capital.

What for? According to the authors of the idea, this action was planned by the MOSSAD, in order to later blame Iran for the terrorist attack. Or maybe everything was different: the attackers hijacked the plane, turned off the transponder and managed to unnoticeably land the car somewhere on a distant island in order to use it for their own purposes.

And the British athlete Catherine Tee, who traveled with her husband on a yacht in those parts and at that very time, saw an entire Chinese military flotilla at sea - and a plane flying very low. According to her version, the people who hijacked the plane planned to crash into the ships of the flotilla.

Shocking versions

Not without casting a shadow over our country. For example, American journalist Jeff Wise suggested that the plane was hijacked by Russian special services and secretly landed in Kazakhstan.

Allegedly, the invaders changed the equipment so that air traffic controllers received false data on the direction of flight, while the liner headed for Baikonur. But why? Wise found it difficult to answer.

An even more shocking version appeared on several websites at once: the MH370 flight turned out to be exactly the same plane that crashed … over Ukraine! And this is already the work of the tseerushniki.

They hijacked the plane to Amsterdam, named it MH17, and then sent it back to Kuala Lumpur through the Donetsk region, where it was shot down at the instigation of the American special services in order to discredit Russia. But again the question arises: why complicate things so much?

Perhaps this Ukrainian version is the only one that answers the question: where did the plane go? He was shot down, and the wreckage has already been collected. The rest of the hypotheses give no answer. After all, nothing remained of the liner at all! Even if the reason was simply a technical failure and the plane either exploded or flew until it ran out of fuel, he himself or its parts would probably be able to find it.

Maybe he fell into the Mariana Trench? After all, no one knows where this liner actually flew. Or does he know, but will never say?.. So really, all you have to do is to believe in the most incredible version: he was stolen by aliens!..
