On the evening of October 16, 2016 at 19:30, a resident of Newnan, Georgia, USA, noticed two luminous UFOs in the sky.
The event took place 25 km south of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. In his statement to the World UFO Network (MUFON), an eyewitness said that he lives near the airport and knows all the models of planes that come in for landing. At first, he really thought it was an airplane. However, two bright objects were off the landing path.
“The bright orange lights were closer together than any planes approaching the airport,” a local wrote. “They were perfectly round glowing balls. I shot them with my iphone 6c and then zoomed in to get a better look. There was something in the center of each of them, but I'm not sure if it was a distortion or not."
The eyewitness was very excited, this was his first experience of seeing a UFO.
“I was always skeptical about everything like that, but I have never seen anything like this,” the eyewitness described his feelings.
He watched the stationary lights for about 10 minutes, and when he had already decided to go down to his house, the balls began to slowly diverge in different directions.
“It seemed to me very strange that UFOs began to move in the direction opposite to the direction of landing of aircraft. They dropped below the tree line, and I lost sight of them,”added an eyewitness.
