In a previous article, the topic of the impact of UFOs on car engines and the electrical circuits of cars was touched upon. A version of specialists is put forward that the electromagnetic fields of a UFO are capable of disrupting the sparking sequence in the combustion chamber, blocking the input circuits of the radio receiver and disrupting radio reception. All this is referred to as the so-called tungsten effect.
With microwave irradiation of tungsten, an increase in the resistance of this metal is observed, which entails a decrease in the current in the filaments of lamps installed in car headlights, and then the extinction of light. Similar effects are caused by an increase in resistance in the tungsten alloy contacts of the ignition distributor, leading to the disappearance of the spark in the spark plug.
All of the above is quite applicable to tungsten cathodes of radio tubes. The effects listed by us could be classified as curious if we were talking about personal vehicles, household electrical and radio equipment. But these cases stop looking funny when there is a disconnection from the power supply of not only entire cities, but also large territories.
These cases are far from isolated. UFOs show no less interest in Earth power distribution systems than in closed military installations. They can often be seen near power plants, distribution plants, and along power lines. Several cases of "contacts" of UFOs with power lines are described. They probably replenish their energy resources. One way or another, the appearance of UFOs near power distribution systems was most often accompanied by a disruption in the operation of these systems.
